Δύο μήνες μετά την αρχή της κατοχής στην Ελλάδα, οι Γερμανοί επιτέθηκαν στην Σοβιετική Ένωση, κι έτσι οι αριστεροί ξεπέρασαν την αμηχανία τους. 🔴Οι εντολές για τα καθήκοντα των Ευρωπαίων αριστερών, δόθηκαν από τον Στάλιν, στο ραδιοφωνικό του διάγγελμα, αμέσως μετά την γερμανική επίθεση: «Στις κατεχόμενες από τον εχθρό περιοχές, οφείλουν να συγκροτηθούν σχηματισμοί ανταρτών. Πρέπει να δημιουργηθεί αφόρητη κατάσταση για τον εχθρό και τους συνεργάτες του». 🔴Έτσι, την 1η Ιουλίου 1941, συνέρχεται η 6η Ολομέλεια της ΚΕ του ΚΚΕ, με θέμα: «Η τρέχουσα στιγμή και τα καθήκοντα των Ελλήνων κομμουνιστών». Παρόντες ήταν και τρεις που είχαν αποφυλακίσει οι Γερμανοί από την Ακροναυπλιά, πριν από λίγες μέρες: οι Ανδρέας Τσίπας, Ανδρέας Τζήμας και Κώστας Λαζαρίδης. Μάλιστα, ο πρώτος εξελέγη γ.γ. του ΚΚΕ. 🔴Στην Ολομέλεια αυτή, αποφασίστηκε η ίδρυση του ΕΑΜ: «Η υπεράσπιση της Σοβιετικής Ένωσης, η υποστήριξη της νίκης της με όλα τα μέσα είναι ύψιστο καθήκον κάθε κομμουνιστή... Οι κομμουνιστές οφείλουν να δουν, ότι στο σημερινό στάδιο της αντισοβιετικής επίθεσης ο φασισμός είναι ο κύριος εχθρός... Γι' αυτό πρέπει να υποστηρίζουν κάθε προσπάθεια που θα τείνει στη συντριβή του φασισμού και στην υπεράσπιση της Σοβιετικής Ένωσης». 🔴Όπως βλέπετε, διόλου τυχαία, η απόφαση αρχίζει και τελειώνει με την ίδια ακριβώς φράση: «Υπεράσπιση της Σοβιετικής Ένωσης»! Αυτό, για να μην έχετε καμμιά αμφιβολία για τους πραγματικούς λόγους της ίδρυσης του ΕΑΜ. 🔴Ακόμα και μεταγενέστερα, το 1953, σε απολογιστική έκθεση του Π.Γ. του ΚΚΕ, αναφέρεται ξεκάθαρα ο λόγος που το κόμμα οργάνωσε αντάρτικο: «Ο αγώνας του ελληνικού λαού κατά τη διάρκεια της ναζιστικής κατοχής, ήταν μόνο μια μικρή συμβολή στην τεράστια προσπάθεια που έκανε η Σοβιετική Ένωση για την ήττα του φασισμού». Για να το κάνουμε λιανά, αν η Γερμανία δεν επιτίθετο στην ΕΣΣΔ, ούτε ΕΑΜ θα υπήρχε, ούτε ΕΛΑΣ, ούτε Άρης Βελουχιώτης, ούτε, ούτε, ούτε... 🔴Υπήρχε όμως ένα μεγάλο πρόβλημα την εποχή εκείνη: το ΚΚΕ ήταν ουσιαστικά διαλυμένο από την δικτατορία της 4ης Αυγούστου. Αναφέρει σχετικά ο Χαριτόπουλος: «Η πρωτοβουλία για την δημιουργία του ΕΑΜ ανήκει στους κομμουνιστές, αυτές τις δύο τρεις εκατοντάδες που κατορθώνουν να δραπετεύσουν από τις φυλακές και τα ξερονήσια». 🔴Αφού ήταν τόσο λίγοι, οι κομμουνιστές αποφάσισαν να βρουν συμμάχους, πρόθυμους να «καπελωθούν». Έτσι, την ιδρυτική διακήρυξη του ΕΑΜ, εκτός από το ΚΚΕ, την συνυπέγραψαν το Σοσιαλιστικό Κόμμα Ελλάδας, η Ένωση Λαϊκής Δημοκρατίας και το Αγροτικό Κόμμα Ελλάδας. Επρόκειτο για «κόμματα-σφραγίδες», με αρχηγούς, αλλά χωρίς οπαδούς, που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ως «βιτρίνα», για να μην φαίνεται ότι το ΕΑΜ ήταν όργανο του ΚΚΕ. 🔴Έπρεπε δε, οπωσδήποτε, να εμφανίζεται το ΕΑΜ, ως δήθεν «εθνικοαπελευθερωτικό» κίνημα. Για τον σκοπό αυτό, το πρώτο συνθετικό του ΕΑΜ ήταν η λέξη «Εθνικό». Παρατηρεί επί τούτου, με εμφανή δόση ειρωνείας, ο Χαριτόπουλος: «Το παράδειγμα το έδωσε ο Στάλιν, που, για να κινητοποιήσει τους αδρανούντες λαούς της ΕΣΣΔ, χαρακτήρισε τον πόλεμο “πατριωτικό”, ενώ μια ολόκληρη εποχή πριν για κάθε κομμουνιστή η λέξη “πατριώτης” ήταν συνώνυμο του “προδότης”». 🔴Μάλιστα, για ακόμα μεγαλύτερο καμουφλάρισμα, η ιδρυτική διακήρυξη του ΕΑΜ, γράφτηκε στην καθαρεύουσα, ενώ ήταν γνωστό πως το ΚΚΕ χρησιμοποιούσε την πιο απλή μορφή της δημοτικής. Η αλήθεια είναι, πως στην αρχή, πολλοί αγνοί πατριώτες την πάτησαν και εντάχθηκαν στο ΕΑΜ. Βέβαια, αργότερα έγιναν τα αποκαλυπτήρια, αλλά αρκετοί είχαν πλέον παγιδευτεί. 🔴Το αντάρτικο, δεν άρχισε άμεσα, καθώς το ένοπλο τμήμα του ΕΑΜ, ο ΕΛΑΣ, ιδρύθηκε 5 μήνες αργότερα (στις 16 Φεβρουαρίου 1942), ενώ οι πρώτες ανταρτικές ομάδες εμφανίστηκαν στα βουνά το καλοκαίρι του 1942. Αν εξαιρέσουμε την συμμετοχή στην ανατίναξη της γέφυρας του Γοργοποτάμου (που έγινε κατόπιν πίεσης από τους Βρετανούς), η ουσιαστική δράση του ΕΛΑΣ άρχισε την άνοιξη του 1943. Λίγο αργότερα, θα εξαπολυθεί ο «Πρώτος Γύρος», κατά των εθνικών οργανώσεων αντιστάσεως, με σκοπό την μονοπώληση της αντίστασης και την βίαιη κατάληψη της εξουσίας, μετά την αποχώρηση των Γερμανών!
