The Commission has already outlined the margins of flexibility available to member states to cope with the high cost of living and, in particular, the energy crisis we are experiencing. This was said by the EU Commissioner for Justice, Michael McGrath, to ANSA on the sidelines of the Eu Inc. conference, organized by the Single Market Lab of the Agency for Research and Legislation (Arel) at the Office of the European Parliament in Rome, in response to a question about the possibility of new flexibility related to inflation. #crisiEnergetica #costoDellaVita #competitivitàIndustriale (translated)

Sabrina F. argued that a unique, centralized, and mandatory digital identity could become a tool for conditioning access to work, purchases, travel, and healthcare. She clarified that she is not against technology, but against the imposition of digital systems without alternatives, and stated that fundamental rights should not depend on a QR code or a connection. In the post, she reported that on March 4, 2026, an event on digital identity was held at the European Parliament in Brussels. According to Sabrina F., the Dutch lawyer Meike Terhorst, specializing in law, discussed the expansion of digital identity systems and their possible effects on privacy, civil liberties, banking and public services, and participation in everyday life. Sabrina F. reported that Terhorst had argued that member states could refuse digital identity and had advised citizens who possessed one to get rid of it. Sabrina F. concluded by aligning herself with a technology that serves people and called for critical voices to be heard.

An Abandoned Italian Newsstand Just Became the World’s Smallest Theatre. Fifteen minutes. One actor. No stage. Luciano Magaldi Sardella

Lia Bencivenga 1d

Lia Bencivenga said she had not followed and did not want to follow a program she considered dishonest. Commenting on the discussions about the so-called Dossier K, she argued that its contents were verifiable in the SITs of the cited individuals and that even Stasi's defense had had suspicions about the Kappa family, without this constituting a crime. Bencivenga added that the dossier and the numerous emails sent to the Prosecutor's Office were on record and that nothing had been hidden. She then wondered why the person she called "Miss FBI" was so interested in knowing the author of the dossier, while, according to her, she showed no interest in the concealment of decisive results attributed to the RIS of Garofano and another involved person. She also criticized that person's reaction to the "personal consulting," which, in her opinion, had been found in the RIS files even though it had never been requested, submitted, or signed. Finally, Bencivenga criticized four people who were following that case, claiming that they had poor critical reading skills and were attracted to malice and meanness. She asked the person called "Miss FBI" if she checked the documents before becoming indignant. #mostri #garlasco #dossierK #giustizia (translated)

Majakovsk 2d

Majakovsk has argued that the amount of diesel that the United States would buy or unlock from Russia would be insufficient to cover American needs and would mostly arrive just before or after the midterm elections. In his view, the initiative would primarily serve a propaganda function. He added that many estimates would consider Russian production capacity without accounting for the growth of domestic consumption. Before the war, he wrote, Russia produced 80-90 million tons of diesel per year, exported about half (40-45 Mt), and consumed 35-38 million internally. According to 2026 data cited by Majakovsk, production would have dropped to about 70-75 million tons, while domestic consumption would have risen to 48-55 million, also due to the needs of the war machine and logistics. Majakovsk stated that, during certain periods, including planting and harvesting or offensives, Moscow would be forced to temporarily suspend exports to meet domestic demand, relying on strategic reserves for the rest of the year. He then argued that a significant increase in Russian exports would not be sustainable and that overseas sales would be capped. Referring to Donald Trump's move, Majakovsk called it a worrying political signal, especially for the diplomatic and symbolic rupture it would represent; he added that the influx of new capital into the Russian war machine would remain marginal. #Ucraina #diesel #politica (translated)

Timostene asked gay people, women, and immigrants who voted for the right how they could support representatives who, in his opinion, promoted positions contrary to their interests. He stated that Roberto Vannacci had used offensive expressions about homosexuality, also referring to journalist Tommaso Cerno, director of the Giornale. Regarding women, Timostene asserted that Vannacci wanted to abolish the crime of femicide and had written in his program that the Mediterranean patriarchy should be protected. He described the model as one in which women stayed at home, had children, and obeyed their husbands. He also criticized the new electoral law desired by the majority: according to him, with blocked leaders and no obligation for parity among them, women in the Chamber would be half of what they are today, according to predictions shared by several parties. He added that Vannacci would also want to abolish the mandatory alternation of men and women on the lists. As for immigrants, Timostene reported that Vannacci proposed assimilation or return to their countries of origin, a line indicated with the term "remigration." He concluded by stating that those positions did not spare even right-wing voters and asked how one could vote for Giorgia Meloni, Vannacci, or Matteo Salvini. #DirittiUmani #Politica #Inclusione (translated)
