Clarification note from Flamengo: "Due to recent publications regarding a supposed refusal by Flamengo to the possibility of facing Santos on October 7, at MorumBIS, in São Paulo, Flamengo clarifies that: * Recently, Flamengo was contacted by Santos with a proposal to change the date and location of the match, valid for the 29th round of the Brazilian Championship. Originally scheduled for October 8, at Vila Belmiro, the match would be moved to October 7 and held at MorumBIS, in the capital of São Paulo. * Flamengo readily agreed to the proposal, understanding that the change would bring benefits to the club from a logistical standpoint, in addition to providing greater comfort and security for its fans. * After Flamengo's consent, the club was informed, unofficially, that Santos had withdrawn from the change. Thus, the information that Flamengo refused or raised any objection to the proposal is untrue. On the contrary, the club expressed its agreement with the change as soon as it was consulted." #Flamengo #Santos #CampeonatoBrasileiro (translated)
