We have eligible expenses in this area, we will analyze to what extent and, of course, if we consider it necessary, we will use these margins of flexibility allowed by the rules. This was stated this Thursday by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Business and First Vice President of the Government, Carlos Cuerpo, upon his arrival at the meeting of Eurogroup ministers taking place in Luxembourg. Pablo Quirno reported that he had met with Marlin Khiew, vice president of Seatrium, and had toured the company’s shipyards in Singapore, which he described as leaders in marine and offshore engineering. There, he pointed out, was the FLNG Golar Hilli Episeyo, from Golar, a floating plant that would process natural gas from Vaca Muerta to produce LNG intended for export. Quirno indicated that Seatrium would refurbish the facility to operate off the coast of Río Negro starting in mid-2027, as part of the Southern Energy project. He added that it would have a capacity to produce 2.45 million tons annually and an expected operation of 20 years, which would allow converting Vaca Muerta resources into long-term energy exports. He also stated that Argentina was consolidating as a significant player in the global LNG market and linked that outlook with investment and clear rules for production and export. #GNL #VacaMuerta #EnergíaRenovable (translated)

"This electoral law essentially mirrors the one in force for municipalities and regions. I am puzzled by the reactions of the center-left; if they believe what they say, they must propose the abolition of the direct election of mayors. In local elections, citizens vote for the party, the coalition, the councilor, the mayor, and, with the majority prize and the threshold, they obtain stable governments. Exactly what our electoral law provides for. Perhaps the left prefers palace conspiracies and technocratic governments. It is true that preferences exist only in part, but those who accuse us do not seem to have ever considered the issue of preferences. As an old saying goes, 'the best is the enemy of the good.' It is better to have 40% of preferences than 0, and we have taken advantage of the situation to start a reform path that will lead citizens to choose 100% of parliamentarians with preferences in the future. Today, we could have achieved at most this result." This was declared by the Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies, Fabio Rampelli of Brothers of Italy, during a live intervention on the Coffee Break program on La7. #LeggeElettorale #PoliticaItaliana #Democrazia (translated)
