Emrah Erken criticized the UN Human Rights Council and Navi Pillay. He wrote that the body had condemned Israel for human rights violations a total of 116 times since its founding in 2006, while China, Turkey, and Qatar had not been condemned even once. The United Nations, he claimed, had turned human rights into a weapon against the West, particularly Israel. Pillay served as UN High Commissioner for Human Rights from 2008 to 2014. During this time, the Human Rights Council never condemned China, Erken wrote. UN Watch and former UN employee Emma Reilly accused Pillay of having passed the names of more than 50 dissidents, including Uighurs, to China under her leadership. Additionally, Pillay stayed away from the Nobel Prize ceremony in 2010 in honor of the imprisoned Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo. Erken further wrote that Pillay later led a UN commission of inquiry that accused Israel of genocide and previously signed calls for sanctions against Israel. In 2012, she criticized the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo for its Muhammad cartoons, describing the drawings as malicious and intentionally provocative. Critics also accused her of opting for appeasement and restrictions on freedom of expression rather than defending it in the debate over Muhammad cartoons. Erken called it a shame that Pillay would receive this year's Nobel Peace Prize, and expressed opposition to post-colonialism, the "Woke Left," and Pillay. #Menschenrechte #UN #Israel (translated)

Markus Frohnmaier criticized Lars Klingbeil for having called the election of an AfD politician as the president of the state parliament in Saxony-Anhalt, while the SPD candidate lost, as irresponsible. The SPD has allowed AfD candidates to repeatedly fail for the position of deputy president of the state parliament in parliaments nationwide for years, wrote Frohnmaier. Klingbeil must now endure the same treatment, he added. #Satire #Politik #AfD (translated)

Malue Montclairre wrote that the EU Parliament in Strasbourg had spent money on a statue of Donald Trump with the text "The Orange Plague." Malue Montclairre initially believed that the image of the statue was AI-generated but claimed that the EU had erected it to mock the President of the USA. Malue Montclairre called the statue ridiculous, immoral, childish, and provocative and wrote that it showed that the EU establishment had crossed a lower threshold. Malue Montclairre added that the EU, in their view, did not challenge countries that jailed people for hate speech or for hurting others' feelings. #EU #politik #satire (translated)

The X-Account Autumn Princess wrote that Voigt had withdrawn his lawsuit after the TU Chemnitz revoked his PhD in January and rejected his appeal in July. The account asked why Voigt still held office and criticized that he did not await the court ruling. As a possible justification, the account mentioned time, energy, the citizens, and the country, but assessed the withdrawal of the lawsuit as an attempt to quietly end a hopeless matter. Referring to Voigt's 2008 dissertation on "Bush vs. Kerry," the account demanded that he should have given up both his title and his office. The post was marked as satire. #Politik #Doktorarbeit #Chemnitz (translated)

He accused it of inciting hatred and trivializing National Socialism and the Holocaust, and criticized that it is funded by compulsory fees. FRENCHRAPUS stated that the French magazine LOVE had published exclusive information about GTA 6, with its release expected the following month. According to him, Rockstar wanted to make Lucia a character as impactful and beloved as Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2. He also wrote that non-playable characters would have coherent conversations and would be designed with their own lives and histories. The exchanges heard by players would thus make sense, he added. FRENCHRAPUS described the map as a world where players could spend hundreds of hours and become attached to. Finally, he indicated that Rockstar had met with police officers and gang members in Florida to enhance the game's realism. The studio would also seek to maintain the relevance of its satire over several years by avoiding too much reliance on the fleeting trends of the internet, he wrote. #GTA6 #RockstarGames #JeuxVidéo (translated)
