The PAO Basketball Club AKTOR stated that it collaborated with the "HYGEIA" Hospital and White Veil for awareness about early diagnosis and prevention of breast cancer at the Telekom Center Athens. According to the team, athletes and staff wore Pink Reminder symbols as they entered the court, while the message was displayed on LED screens and fans wore related t-shirts. The team added that the Pink Reminder Cam initiative offered free screenings to female fans and characterized October as an occasion for health protection.

Eyagg wrote that he couldn't think of another playmaker who would integrate so quickly, make a difference, and take on a big burden while Nann was absent. He thanked Tony Parker and referred to Francisco as an "artist." #paobc https://t.co/mGREygrnen #μπάσκετ #Παναθηναϊκός #ΝΒΑ (translated)

Aris Laoudis wrote that a grimace captured the thoughts of his friends from Panathinaikos. He named Lesor as MVP, noted that the defense was improving with Bonga, and that Rogkavopoulos was fully ready. He added that Haynes-Davis's statement about his motivation had sparked a lot of discussion. According to him, Panathinaikos had shown stability in defense against a much more talented opponent and intensity in every play, while it was interesting how Zoc would incorporate Nan into the already full roster. #paobc #euroleague #Fenerbahçe #paobc #euroleague #μπάσκετ (translated)

Spyros wrote that Kendrick Nunn had aimed to deeply understand Greek history and culture, beyond his successes with Panathinaikos. He mentioned that Nunn was studying ancient Athens, Pericles' democracy, and Socrates' philosophy with his family while visiting places like the Agora and the Acropolis. He added that if Nunn continued at this pace, he might need help from the passport office.

Especially in the first 4-5 minutes he played in each half, he was amazing in defense, positioning, and screens… Afterward, he showed fatigue, but he stayed on the court due to the terrible night of both Hall and Tyrique… I believe he will find time in other games, with fewer minutes than today, but still even more qualitative!! Zalgiris, in the absence of its main creator and best perimeter player Nigel Goss, would rely heavily on Jonas Valanciunas from the start. Coach Bartzokas (in something he has done many times in the past) went for multiple help defenses in post-up situations when the Lithuanian superstar received the ball, setting the tone that he didn’t want any shots taken from there. Valanciunas' quality, in the absence of a creator, was enough to keep Zalgiris in the game: in a match decided by a single point, Valanciunas dominated, finishing with +13 (something we leverage, as the difference with him on the court was glaring), creating 7 assists, 5 potential assists, and 4 passes to assists (!). This is one of those times when the public discussion is not exactly right: yes, you don't play drop against Fournier. But for Zalgiris, to be within a point against elite teams, Valanciunas' presence on the court is a necessary and sufficient condition - because his quality and impact cannot be matched. So we have two situations: A correct tactical choice on one side (not executing Valanciunas in the post, shifting Zalgiris’ offense to long-range shots or close-outs). And on the other hand, the opponent's quality to find a solution to this correct tactical choice and be well within the game. Great things again this year in the Euroleague! Tomorrow our analysis, along with today’s matches and of course the game of PAO!
