Instant Foot reported that Florent, an amateur goalkeeper from Armentières in R3, usually filmed his matches and published the footage on social media. One of his videos circulated widely: after hitting the crossbar, the ball rebounded several centimeters in front of the line, but the assistant referee signaled a goal. According to Florent's account relayed by Instant Foot, the central referee told him he believed him, while explaining that he had to follow his assistant's decision. Florent insisted on contesting this and received a yellow card. He also tried to show the footage to the referee but was unable to quickly find the sequence. Instant Foot added that the referee watched the video after the match and apologized. Despite a technical reserve, no change to the decision was possible. #Football #Arbitrage #Sport (translated)

Guillaume Herblot criticized the Minister of Education, Édouard Geffray, for leaving classes without a teacher for weeks while, according to him, 3,000 substitute teachers were available but not assigned to students. He stated that these teachers, already trained and paid, had only been mobilized after protests and blockades. Herblot also criticized the management of assignments and the use of software that Geffray supposedly requested a year earlier. He mentioned that the minister had referred to 114 high schools classified in red and 400 in orange, as well as reinforcements "in the coming hours and days." The author contrasted this announcement with the elimination of positions and the departure of contract workers that he had denounced, and described the officials as amateurs. #Éducation #PénurieDeProfesseurs #GestionDeCrise (translated)

Masian believed that Julian's agent had shown unprecedented amateurism during the summer and had let him be humiliated by Gil Marin and Atleti. He thought that the Instagram story posted by Julian in response, directed against Gil Marin, was a childish reaction. According to him, having accepted a 500M clause when signing with Atleti should have been enough to justify the agent's dismissal. Masian added that Julian now found himself in difficulty and might have missed the chance to achieve his ultimate dream, while wondering if Barça would come back for him. #Football #Transferts #AtleticoMadrid (translated)

Finally, he disqualified Tapia. https://t.co/1891IvgIGA #Fútbol #Deportes #BurkinaFaso (translated)

Decisions like putting Franco Romero in every match are what make you lose a championship. Nothing was happening in the match, and this guy makes a mistake worthy of amateur football by making a pass backward without looking. I’m still astonished. Everything was under control. #Fútbol #Deportes #Opinión (translated)

Libé said it was an intervention by Marine Le Pen. In any case, it doesn't matter. Regarding Frontières, it cannot be a "right-wing Mediapart" for very clear reasons: 1) Not financially independent (therefore under pressure from shareholders). 2) Amateurism in management. See the thread from the freelancer who worked for them: the guy wasn't paid even though it was a small amount, has to beg to get the rest, etc. In short... Mediapart pays its salaries on time, without trying to negotiate via WhatsApp like a scammer. You can see that they are very short-term oriented: normally, they would try to take care of their reputation with freelancers... 3) They are constantly seeking buzz to exist, while Mediapart can remain silent for three months before releasing an investigation. It’s more serious. We see it now with the release of L’Infiltré: it’s atrocious and everything in it is reheated. One must be objective: yet, I am not a fan of Mediapart, far from it, but their management, at all levels, financial, editorial, investigations, etc., is probably the best that exists currently.

#Trump #Commerce #Canada
