FRENCHRAPUS indicated that the tiger that had attacked a man who voluntarily entered its enclosure in a zoo in England would not be euthanized. He added that the zoo believed the animal had reacted to the man's intrusion into its territory. https://t.co/Wm0jeYsY9U #Zoo #Tigre #AnimalRights (translated)

The author asked what the DNA of the oldest known land animal, which they said had lived 194 years, might reveal about ageing. They wrote that exceptional longevity may depend not on avoiding ageing, but on maintaining stable regulation of genes involved in energy production, RNA processing and DNA repair.

Virologist Pasquale Ferrante provides reassurance about the plague, explaining that Yersinia pestis mainly lives in animals in the United States, while suggesting that the hypothesis of using the bacterium as a biological weapon is unfounded. #peste #YersiniaPestis #salute (translated)

The decrease in prices (for fuel, editor's note) for Americans and especially for our formidable farmers, livestock breeders, and transporters represents my absolute priority. It is hard to imagine that there is now a high political official who does not understand the electoral weight of the movement initiated by Trump which declared that "the decrease in prices (for fuel, editor's note) for Americans and especially for our formidable farmers, livestock breeders, and transporters represents my absolute priority," and the first reaction of the markets confirms him, as there was immediately felt a 4.8% drop in futures contracts for the price of diesel in the American market. #Zelenski #Trump #PoliticaEnergetică (translated)

"We have reached barbarism, animality: we shoot a human being as if it were a public spectacle. We have gone back ninety years, to the last time a man was hanged in public in the United States. It is truly shameful." With these words, Vincenzo De Luca, in his usual weekly Facebook live address, comments on the decision announced by U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, whom he referred to as "the slicked-back one." What is happening in the United States with the current ruling group at the helm of the country is pushing the world towards levels of barbarism and loss of fundamental human values that leave us truly shocked." The mayor of Salerno describes the announcement as a return to practices that the United States had abandoned for almost a century, and harshly criticizes the Trump administration: "What is happening in the United States with the current ruling group at the helm of the country is pushing the world towards levels of barbarism and loss of fundamental human values that leave us truly shocked." We will have a political season that will record the further fragmentation of the political landscape of our country. Every election campaign eve sees the birth of new lists, new groupings, all that series of nonsense and hypocrisies that serve simply one purpose: to guarantee a candidacy to as many people as possible – he continues – I happened to particularly observe "Civic Project." I called it "Civic Opportunism": it is a way to try to create spaces for candidacy. That’s all." De Luca then comments on the eve of the Italian electoral season, targeting the political formation promoted by Alessandro Onorato, which continues to gather support even in Campania, including from regional councilors so far close to the former president of the Campania Region: "We will have a political season that will record the further fragmentation of the political landscape of our country. I have been repeating for decades that there is a condition of total anomaly in Italy. When you need to make political choices on major issues (healthcare, transportation, taxation, justice, foreign policy), you can have two different positions, three, four, five hypotheses for solving problems or lines on which to position yourself to tackle the issues. But you can’t have twenty lines of economic policy, twenty healthcare policies, twenty transportation policies." They pretend to contribute to the governance of the country, but in reality, they are great charades and initiatives of opportunism that simply serve to open spaces for the candidacies of a few characters in search of an author." #VincenzoDeLuca #Elezioni #PoliticaUSA (translated)

Marco Setaccioli had argued that Donald Trump, after imposing sanctions on those buying fuel from Russia, would in turn buy Russian fuel. According to Setaccioli, the money paid to Moscow would allow Vladimir Putin to purchase drones from Iran and technology from China, which in turn purchased Iranian oil. The author had accused Trump of indirectly funding the Tehran regime while the United States was waging war against it, and of contributing to dedollarization by paying in dollars. He also used offensive expressions to describe the U.S. president and accused him of putting weapons in the hands of America's enemies, claiming that dictators knew how to exploit him and convince him to lead the country away from ruin. #politica #Trump #Russia (translated)

I just concluded a very successful discussion with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, during which it was agreed that Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 tons of diesel fuel to markets in America and globally, another 500,000 tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 tons immediately thereafter. "In addition, based on the status of their diesel refineries, Russia will then deliver, in the short term, 3,000,000 tons of diesel fuel. Between our TOTAL control over the Strait of Hormuz and this extraordinary announcement regarding Russian energy, diesel prices for Americans and, in fact, for the whole world will DROP, AT RECORD NUMBERS AND FAST! Lower prices for Americans, especially for our large farmers, ranchers, and truck drivers, represent my highest priority. This is a very big and important announcement. It must also be understood that Iran will not have a nuclear weapon! Thank you for your attention to this matter," Trump wrote on his Truth Social network, following the discussions with Putin. #Trump #Putin #motorina (translated)
