Com atuação apartidária e fiel à Constituição, o TSE sempre garantiu a paridade de armas entre candidatos e a legitimidade das eleições. Os desafios, no entanto, continuam. O desenvolvimento tecnológico tem apresentado uma série de novas dificuldades à regularidade da formação da vontade popular. As ferramentas de inteligência artificial hoje existentes, ao mesmo tempo em que ajudam nas atividades do dia a dia, permitem a criação de vídeos, áudios e peças de propaganda capazes de enganar o eleitor e desequilibrar as disputas eleitorais.
