The author wrote that it was time to use the momentum to reduce the EU’s dependencies in energy, finance and security, saying it could count only on itself. They called for completing the Single Market and moving from 27 to one under the “One Europe One Market” initiative, and tagged the Delors Institute and #CSFPrishtina2026. #CSFPrishtina2026 https://t.co/HxSv5VAurC #Europa #Economie #Energie #EU

The author argued that Europe should take a less naïve approach to China and defend its own interests. They called for stronger trade-defence measures, more diverse critical supply chains, lower dependence on raw materials, ratification of trade agreements and improved competitiveness within Europe. https://t.co/q7KXLiT74w #Europa #Comercio #InteresesEuropeos #CN #EU

Chat control bude hřebíkem do rakve evropské digitální konkurenceschopnosti, pomůže hlavně technologickým obrům z USA. A ty alternativy budou velmi často americké. Studie „Bugs in our Pockets: The Risks of Client-Side Scanning“ (https://t.co/PFIpYjC7NO) upozorňuje, že skenování přímo v zařízení uživatele paradoxně vytváří novou bezpečnostní zranitelnost. Jinými slovy, chat control by nevytvořil bezpečný internet. Vytvořil by skenovací mechanismus přímo v mobilu či počítači občana. To není detail. To jsou peníze. Milion falešně pozitivních hlášení denně znamená náklady na ruční třídění, právní obranu, policejní kapacity, administrativu a dohled v jednotkách miliard eur ročně. Další miliardy spolkne compliance, právní nejistota, technologické úpravy a reputační škody evropských firem. Zasahuje do samotné infrastruktury moderní ekonomiky.

The transatlantic partnership remains essential to security, democracy, and growth. The EU must take more responsibility for its own defence—it will make the alliance more credible, balanced, and resilient. China’s new outbound investment rules take force July 1. Beijing screens its own capital, polices its own tech, and punishes anyone who de-risks. China’s web of dependencies just became geoeconomic leverage. For Europe, de-risking is now a trigger, not a shield. #China #Geoeconomics #InvestmentRules #CN #EU
