Rick Azevedo said he had been elected a federal deputy and introduced himself as the first pharmacy clerk to reach the National Congress. He stated that he came from the working class and had fulfilled 12 years on a 6x1 shift in commerce. He declared that he intended to continue fighting and that the following year he would face in the Federal Chamber anyone who was against the people. He also said he would go to Brasília the next day to advocate for the end of the 6x1 shift in the Senate, an agenda that, according to him, he had been following at the federal level before entering politics. Azevedo stated that he would work harder than ever and supported Lula's reelection, the end of the 6x1 shift, and the continuation of what he called "making history" in the country. #LutaPeloPovo #FazendoHistória #Trabalhadores (translated)
