Marcin Matczak wrote that the day before, in "Super Express," he criticized Karol Nawrocki's idea to increase access to firearms in Poland. He claimed that it could lead to school massacres similar to those in the USA and emphasized that, in his opinion, the proposal is particularly bad in the context of the school murder he wrote about. Matczak accused the right of presenting his words as a connection between the president and the knife attack and called its representatives propagandists. He also addressed the president, urging him to focus on Poland's problems instead of concentrating on Donald Trump. He described the USA as a failing country in some social issues, pointing to healthcare and children's safety in schools. In his view, widespread access to firearms contributes to a tragic level of safety there, and a mentally unstable teenager can take a gun from a father. Matczak assessed that the president should not propose changes leading to the militarization of public life. He wrote that Poland has developed through cooperation, not through mutual threats of weapons. #bezpieczeństwo #broń #Polska (translated)
