Bally Bagayoko explained that his group abstained during the vote on a wish presented by the opposition elected officials from the Socialist, Environmentalists, and Citizens group at the municipal council. The text focused on the protection of girls and women against excision and female genital mutilation, as well as the adoption of a comprehensive law against sexist and sexual violence (SSV). He said that his group supported the fight against mutilations and reminded that nearly 500 patients received follow-up each year in the municipality. He also praised the work of the Women's House, Delafontaine Hospital, and various associations, and asked the State to strengthen the resources allocated for prevention and medical follow-up. According to Bally Bagayoko, the abstention concerned the request to quickly adopt the law on SSV. He indicated that the bill had been significantly amended in committee at the National Assembly the week of the municipal council, and its content remained uncertain. His group had asked to remove references to this law from the wish in order to be able to vote in favor of the text on the fight against excision, but the opposition had refused, he wrote. He believed that this refusal had hindered the pursuit of an agreement and denounced a political instrumentalization of the issue. The group ultimately abstained in order not to block the wish, which was adopted, while not supporting all of its content, he noted. #Excision #DroitsDesFemmes #LutteContreLesViolences (translated)

Actu Foot reported that José Mourinho wanted the Bernabéu to support Kylian Mbappé rather than follow a cause he deemed "orchestrated by journalists." Mourinho believed that the whistles against the striker were part of the objectives of some, and he called on the public to exercise discernment. He added that a Real Madrid player who failed to meet their sporting or civic obligations would not be left on the bench but would stay at home. According to him, Mbappé would play the next day because he was certain that he had not failed to meet his obligations. https://t.co/lNHsuhcrZT #Mbappé #RealMadrid #Football (translated)

For the BND and for myself, there is no compromise when it comes to national security. None of my objectives, none of my priorities, are called into question by this matter. On Tuesday, Martin Jäger, president of the BND for a year, recalled having launched "very early and without delay a vast internal investigation that confirmed the suspicions" in the Hanning case. #Espionnage #BND #Allemagne (translated)

"We will not yield to intimidation or to Russia's escalation, which must not be mistaken: time is not on its side." Emmanuel Macron condemned on Monday Russia's "irresponsible choice" to "intensify its strikes against infrastructure and civilian targets" in Ukraine. #Ukraine #Russie #Guerre (translated)

Emmanuel Macron indicated that he had exchanged words with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to reaffirm France's solidarity and support in the face of the Russian invasion. He stated that Russia was at an impasse on the front, rejected calls for a ceasefire, and intensified its strikes against infrastructure and civilian targets, in violation, according to him, of the fundamental principles of international humanitarian law. Macron declared that France and Europe would continue to support Ukraine and seek ways to protect civilians, reduce hostilities, and promote a lasting peace that respects Ukraine's rights and strengthens European security. He added that the two presidents had reviewed the concrete assistance to be provided to enable Ukraine to intercept drones and repel Russian aggression. Finally, Macron asserted that France would not yield to intimidation or to Russia's escalation, believing that time was working against Moscow. #Ukraine #Solidarité #Paix (translated)

KC ZE1SH recounted the journey of his team over the past few months. He explained that he did not think, five months ago, that they could reach this level, particularly because the group was, in his opinion, struggling mentally. At that time, he believed that progressing from the top 12 to qualifying for the playoffs would already have been a great achievement. The coach thanked the club for trusting him and funding a training trip, which he described as a turning point. The qualification for the EWC, despite being eliminated in the group stage against PRX and NRG, later gave him confidence in his methods and vision for the game. He said the team approached split 2 with good training, then qualified for the Champions and won a trophy. KC ZE1SH indicated that the team arrived early at the bootcamp before the Champions in China. With Youenn, he had established protocols in Berlin to help the players adjust their sleep to the time difference. However, he reported that illnesses and accumulated fatigue had hindered their preparation, and the team seemed less sharp to him than in stage 2. He also confided that qualifying for the Champions had been good for him after a difficult period mentally. He had lost 8 kg, he wrote, before regaining it at the beginning of the 2026 season. His goal as a coach was, in his opinion, to help the players grow both in the game and as individuals, and he believed they emerged stronger from this experience.
