Se ha generado un interesante debate a partir de mi intervención en la presentación del libro “La Resaca” de Eugenio Tironi, sobre su contenido (aunque a veces sea sobre intencionados titulares), su pertinencia y oportunidad. A propósito de esto, me nace una reflexión que quiero compartir.
 Estoy convencido que desde la izquierda siempre, pero en particular después de una derrota tan categórica como la sufrida en el plebiscito del 4 de septiembre de 2022 y en las últimas elecciones presidenciales y parlamentarias, tenemos el deber de reflexionar sobre nuestras propias acciones y convicciones. Debemos hacerlo por iniciativa propia, en privado y también en público. Escuchar, leer, debatir, elaborar. Tanto para identificar y corregir errores, defender lo que hemos hecho bien, revisar dogmas, reafirmar principios, y también explorar nuevas ideas. Y en estos tiempos eso es difícil porque muchos te dicen que la comunicación hoy consiste en la lucha por la atención, más que en la reflexión pausada y que por tanto es más rentable un reel con algún tipo de performance o una frase bien grandilocuente que saque ronchas, o gritonearse con alguien para marcar un punto. También se argumenta que no sería deseable realizar ningún tipo de revisión de lo obrado en público porque eso le da herramientas al adversario y se presta para caricaturas. 
 Ceder a esto y en consecuencia cancelar un debate más profundo de ideas por temor al qué dirán, o porque no es posible hacerlo viral es un error garrafal. 
 En el mundo de la izquierda y el progresismo hay mucha gente y grupos pensando y haciéndose preguntas incómodas para reencauzar nuestro proyecto histórico (hay varias columnas y textos en este sentido). Este proceso, junto con volver a los espacios de base para escuchar, trabajar y aprender con el pueblo que pretendemos representar puede que no sea pop ni genere réditos en el corto plazo, pero es esencial si queremos volver a ser mayoría.
