Daniele Ganser wrote that he met Albrecht Müller on the sidelines of the Frankfurt Book Fair and discussed his new book "Battle of the Giants," which was published by Westend Verlag. Müller is a former head of planning in the Federal Chancellery under Willy Brandt and Helmut Schmidt, as well as the founder of the NachDenkSeiten. Ganser appreciates him for his efforts for decades towards a dialogue with Russia. According to Ganser, Müller criticizes the rearmament under EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Defense Minister Boris Pistorius's demand for military readiness. He questions why von der Leyen does not propose disarmament and a dialogue with Russia. Ganser described Müller as one of many voices in Germany that reject the massive rearmament and war rhetoric of Chancellor Merz and Pistorius. #Frieden #Abrüstung #Kriegsrhetorik (translated)
