«Nella notte un grave incendio ha colpito un edificio residenziale in località San Vito, all’angolo tra Via Bertini e Via Corsica. Il bilancio purtroppo è drammatico: due persone hanno perso la vita. Alle loro famiglie e ai loro cari rivolgo il mio pensiero in questo momento di profondo dolore. Diverse persone sono rimaste ferite e sono state trasportate nei presidi ospedalieri di Lucca, Versilia e Pisa. Alla donna trasferita in codice rosso presso l’ospedale di Pisa e a tutti i feriti, compresi i bambini coinvolti, rivolgo l’augurio di una pronta guarigione. I nostri uffici dei Servizi Sociali si sono immediatamente attivati per garantire supporto e assistenza alle famiglie evacuate. In tutto sono stati impiegati nove mezzi di soccorso.
