During the #Melenchon2027 meeting in Clermont-Ferrand, Marianne Maximi, a deputy from Puy-de-Dôme and vice-president of the parliamentary group La France insoumise, stated that the government budget was not aimed at reducing pressure and that children would be on the front line of its social policy. She attributed to the government a record of 10 million poor people, one third of whom are children, and criticized it for planning 54 billion euros in budget cuts without affecting the wealthiest. She also accused the government of advocating the trickle-down theory with the support of the far right, which she said opposed her group's proposals for taxing the rich. Finally, she labeled the RN as an extension of Macronism. (translated)

Didier Maïsto accused Emmanuel Macron of having confined a generation for months, closed high schools, and isolated teenagers, while he was going to the theater with his wife. He believed that these measures had contributed to the distress of young people and criticized the fact that their anger was treated as a public order issue. To support his statements, Maïsto cited figures he attributed to Public Health France and the National Suicide Observatory: nearly one in five high school students would have shown a significant risk of depression and suicidal thoughts in the past year, and 15% would have already attempted suicide. He also indicated that hospitalizations for self-inflicted injuries among young women aged 15 to 19 had reached 516 per 100,000 in 2023, an increase of nearly 50% since 2017, while the youth suicide rate is said to have increased by 40% between 2020 and 2022. According to him, more than half of students reported depressive symptoms during the second lockdown. Maïsto added that the deterioration of young people's mental health had started in the mid-2010s and that the lockdowns had accelerated it. He also mentioned isolation, academic pressure, Parcoursup, social media, and precarity, estimating that girls were particularly affected. He concluded that young people did not need to be targeted by defense ball launchers. #SantéMentaleJeunes #SantéMentale #Jeunesse #Dépression (translated)

Walid Acherchour said he was convinced that Lamine Yamal would win the Ballon d'Or. He stated that the start of the season showed that the player had been injured during the World Cup, and recalled that he had been voted best player in La Liga and won the World Cup with Spain as well as the championship with Barça. However, Acherchour believed that Yamal's performance at the World Cup had been average and that his victory in the Ballon d'Or would therefore not be unanimous. #BallonDor #LamineYamal #Football (translated)

Miss Eve criticized BMW over reports that the car manufacturer withdrew its leasing offer for the new President of the Saxony-Anhalt Parliament on the day of his election. If this is true, the question arises as to whether BMW makes business decisions dependent on the party affiliation of an officeholder, she wrote. She argued that for a company car funded by public means, efficiency and the requirements of the office should count. At the same time, she accused BMW of possibly applying political criteria in selecting customers and warned that these could choose other manufacturers. Miss Eve wrote that she drives a BMW 430i M Sport Coupe, but her leasing contract will soon expire. She could then choose another brand. In the event that BMW excludes customers because of their political views, she noted there are 60.5 million eligible voters in Germany, 30.5 percent potential AfD voters, and 18.5 million disgruntled customers. #BMW #Automobilindustrie #Kundenservice (translated)
