Interest on interest wrote that the Center Party had formally closed the door to a government with M, KD, and L and could not accept SD even as a supporting party. At the same time, the writer believed that the party kept the door open for VPK as a supporting party. Interest on interest described VPK as an Islamist communist party and claimed that it supported Hamas, was hostile towards Jews, did not want to counteract the Muslim Brotherhood, and wanted to abolish the market economy and private ownership. The writer called the stance grotesque. #politik #Sverige #vårdomhärd (translated)

The author stated that he had warned multiple times about the strong increase of anti-Muslim sentiment and Islamophobia in Finland. According to him, key social media influencers and politicians were still spreading hate and labeling an entire religion as the "other." He added that history should not have to repeat itself. #muslimiviham #islamofobia #suomi #FI (translated)

A young Finnish person reported that British Christian police officer Luke Salmons, 46, won a legal battle against police administration. According to the report, Salmons challenged the claim that Islam is a religion of peace in diversity training and raised questions about jihad, Hamas, and Gaza. He was suspended from work two days after the training, and the police department deemed him guilty of a serious misconduct. Salmons was added to the Police Barred List, which effectively prevented him from working in law enforcement. The young Finnish person wrote that Salmons appealed the decision, and North Yorkshire Chief Constable Tim Forber later determined that it was not a serious misconduct nor a breach of professional standards. Salmons was then removed from the barred list. He subsequently filed a lawsuit for religious discrimination and harassment, as well as for violations of his freedom of religion and speech. North Yorkshire Police settled the matter before it progressed to an employment tribunal, and Salmons received financial compensation from the police. The amount of the settlement was not disclosed in the report. #oikeus #uskonnonvapautta #monimuotoisuus (translated)

Felix Perrefort reported that Tillschneider referred to Jewish culture as part of German culture when asked about the AfD's position on Jewish life in Saxony-Anhalt. He described it as deeply rooted for centuries and referenced evidence of Jewish communities since late antiquity. Furthermore, Tillschneider spoke of a German-Jewish cultural symbiosis and announced plans to hold conversations with representatives of the Jewish community. Perrefort wrote that Tillschneider's response had nothing to do with extremism or National Socialism. He believed that the accusations brought to the public by public broadcasting and government parties all the way to the Chancellery were lies. He also doubted that Steinmeier or Klingbeil would have responded similarly confidently and sympathetically, and without diversity clichés, and recommended the interview. #AfD #JüdischesLeben #Kultur (translated)

Keijo Kaarisade wrote that when condemning the oppression of women, it was agreed, in his opinion, to speak vaguely about religions and cultures without referring to Islam. He criticized that a member of the National Coalition Party had been assigned to the matter and they themselves had followed along, and said that he would have to explain the issue to the imam again with Petteri. https://t.co/bbPqxHiqBm #naistenoikeudet #uskonto #kulttuuri (translated)

Alex Vanopslagh wrote that Liberal Alliance's Mads Strange had asked a person who described himself as a conservative Muslim in the TV 2 program Højskolen on Wednesday if it was a problem that only 16 percent of Muslim men in Denmark believed that homosexuality was acceptable. According to Vanopslagh, the person rejected that it was a problem and would not answer what he personally thought about homosexuality. Vanopslagh wrote that he disagreed and considered homophobia to be among the least Danish things. He believed that Muslims could be Danish if they supported the fundamental values of democracy and had embraced Denmark. As a member of parliament, he claimed to have both the right and the duty to establish the requirements for Danish citizenship. He wrote that applicants should at a minimum acknowledge the precedence of Danish law over religious laws, an individual's right to make choices about his life, and equal rights for homosexuals. They should also not support Islamist regimes or terrorist movements. Therefore, Liberal Alliance would screen applicants and say no to individuals who had praised terrorism, supported Hamas or similar organizations, threatened people who left Islam, or acted hostile towards homosexuals, he wrote. Vanopslagh wrote that the government would reintroduce a bill on citizenship for 2,055 individuals. He referred to the government's own statement that applicants' values should be screened, but that the screening should not apply to the 2,055 individuals. According to him, this risked allowing Islamists, rabid anti-Semites, or anti-democrats to gain citizenship. Liberal Alliance would not vote for more citizenships until the screening was in place, Vanopslagh wrote. He described Danish citizenship as a gift rather than a right. #Danmark #Statsborgerskab #LiberalAlliance (translated)

Hannele Al-Hamzawi said she was a guest on the Kuuntelija podcast, where she discussed what she considers an incomprehensible mindset, in which those outside the Islamic community perceive their experiences with community members as truth, for example, through work or random encounters. https://t.co/67bQ5M9FID #Podcast #Islam #Yhteisö (translated)

Dr. Bernd Baumann wrote that a political confrontation between two blocks is imminent. The SPD is moving towards collaboration with the Greens and forces he described as Islamist-left through its Berlin regional association. He interpreted this as a strategic withdrawal of the SPD from the Merz coalition and as the beginning of the next federal election campaign, which is oriented towards the successful camp election campaign of Schwesig. On the other hand, according to Baumann, the AfD is uniting citizens who demand an end to left-wing policies. The Union is being squeezed in between: it showcases its themes only to then negotiate again with left-wing parties. In this conflict, such a party is no longer needed, he wrote. #Politik #Bundestagswahl #SPD (translated)

Mika Merano wrote that he had observed that some people who consider themselves conscious held the view that opposing Islam was racism. He questioned this interpretation and wondered why a Finn who converted to Islam but still viewed it and its teachings as harmful to Western modern democracies would, in his view, be considered a racist towards another Finn. Merano stated that he did not understand the logic of this reasoning. #rasismi #islam #demokratia (translated)
