Myśliwi znają las, szacują zwierzynę, opierają się też o publikacje i naukowe dane PZŁ, współpracują z leśnikami. To daje perspektywę, ktora pozwala ocenić w jakim stanie jest populacja. W 2001 rządzący przychylili sie do naszego wniosku I zgodnie z nim nalozyli na polowania na łosia 10-letnie moratorium. Populacja urosła w siłę, a z 10 lat zrobił się czas nieokreślony. Nie ma decyzji ministerstwa, a łoś nie tylko powoduje olbrzymie szkody rolne. Powoduje też groźne, często śmiertelne wypadki drogowe. To nie sarna, czy dzik Tu się na zderzaku nie kończy. I nie, nie zależy nam jakoś szczególnie na tym, aby na łosia polować, bo jeśli będziemy mieć łosia w planie lowieckim, uchwalanym przez lasy i samorząd, to będziemy musieli też płacić odszkodowania rolnikom.
