Stan Verstappen wrote that he heard Elodie Verweij say that there would be no new Fabers. He called the people that D66 had brought into the Chamber completely incompetent and stated that they would decide how others should live. #kansloos https://t.co/IBpPtl3UMQ #politiek #D66 #Nederland (translated)

Maarten Bakker called the police's actions in Utrecht "incredibly scandalous." He wrote that the police had arrested Jigal Krant, whom he referred to as a victim, and allowed demonstrators to continue their intimidating actions on October 7 without interference. Bakker used derogatory language about the demonstrators and called the Netherlands the dumbest country in Western Europe. #schandalig #Utrecht #intimidatie (translated)

Susanne wrote that she received similar responses almost daily and that her energy and motivation were decreasing. She described the cabinet as very harmful and characterized the D66 Prime Minister as incompetent and lacking leadership qualities. According to her, nothing was changing and the opposition offered her little support. She stated that parliamentary journalism continued to fall short: in her view, too much information about the cabinet was not shared with the public and many journalists lacked dossier knowledge or connection with right-wing voters to ask the right questions. Susanne wrote that she found national politics just as bad as many of her followers did, and she would prefer to stop. However, since many people relied on her tweets, she wanted to continue for now, but with less enthusiasm. #TweedeKamer #Politiek #Democratie #Oppositie (translated)

Jurgen Vluijmans wrote that he had read comments on articles about entrepreneurship and corporations. The familiar arguments stood out to him less than what he described as the strongly negative sentiment towards entrepreneurs in Belgium among people who do not run their own businesses. He stated that this was an observation, not a value judgment, and that the attitude shocked him because it was, in his opinion, much worse than he had expected. #ondernemen #Belgium #sentiment (translated)

There is no money... for as good as nothing. At least, not for you and me; on the contrary: much more taxes and more and more people who cannot pay their bills. But for nonprofits like Avansa, there is easily 13.4 million Euros... To do what? “Uh... we do things.” Like? - “A number of years ago, visited several nursing homes; - Findings prepared - Written down in a little book. - Oh, and here and there organized a nature walk.” 13.4 MILLION EUROS. 🤦‍♂️ 1.16 MILLION EUROS PER MONTH…🤦‍♂️ The working person is being so incredibly screwed over. Unbelievable.

We krijgen veel besloten briefings.
