Acosti argued that Călin Georgescu's opponents were afraid of him because, in his opinion, they could not conceive that someone could act out of conviction and patriotism, without seeking a position or reward. He stated that Georgescu selflessly loved his country and possessed qualities such as stature, eloquence, and soul. The author accused Georgescu's critics of confusing position and wealth with value and respect, mentioning cars like the BMW X6 and Range Rover. He argued that dignity and character could not be obtained through positions, company cars, or image campaigns, and that power belonged to the Romanian people. Acosti further stated that the opponents' fear stemmed from the comparison with Georgescu, whom he described as a respected man without invoking his position. In his view, his presence made the imperfections of the critics more visible, and they were afraid of what they lacked. #România #Patriotism #Dreptate (translated)

Impact also defended the ability of high school students to understand the situation, support the Palestinians, and reject anti-Semitism while putting forward their own demands. He finally pointed out that Cauet's arrival at Bolloré was only a few weeks ago and expressed his support for Palestine. #FreePalestine #Gaza #Solidarité (translated)

Mick van Wely wrote that his Dutch grandfather worked as an optician for the resistance in Leiden and took photos for forged documents. According to him, his father grew up with a strong aversion to Germans. When, as a five-year-old, he received an apple from a German soldier, he thanked him with a curse word for Germans, Van Wely said. His Hungarian mother, he said, grew up under communism, which he described as just as bad as fascism. Van Wely wrote that he had been raised at home with love for and respect for freedom. This, he said, explained why he sometimes reacted angrily when he saw that the carefully built Western lead and achievements, which had long been taken for granted, were coming under heavy pressure and were slowly being rolled back. #vrijheid #geschiedenis #verzet (translated)
