The Sports Cabin reported that Varandas did not take Luís Montenegro's statement to heart and considered it a joke. He said he would not have done the same, considering the millions of potential Sporting voters. He added that he would prefer the club to go another 19 years without winning, as it had already done for 19, than for the president of an organization to be caught on wiretaps corrupting referees. #Sporting #futebol #Portugal (translated)
