Ambassador Ron Prosor wrote that three years after October 7, the Brandenburg Gate lit up in the colors of Israel. He thanked Mayor Kai Wegner for the gesture and said it was important for Jewish people who had to hide their identity on the streets of Berlin every day. People who rejected Israel, according to Prosor, had not succeeded in driving a wedge between them. He knows who has stood by Israel's side in the past three years and stressed that true friendship is revealed in difficult times. #BrandenburgerTor #Solidarität #Freundschaft (translated)

Today we apparently narrowly escaped a second 9/11. A suspected jihadist terrorist attack on a fully booked passenger plane with about 180 people on board – most of them Israelis – could have ended in a catastrophe of immense proportions. The goal: to kill many Israelis and destroy the excellent relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. The courage of the passengers on board and the brave pilot saved lives. Anyone who believes they can destroy the Abraham Accords with terror does not understand their significance. They represent a region where Israelis and Arabs are building a better future together – against the forces of jihadism that only bring death and destruction. The only response can be to strengthen and support the Abraham Accords even more. This is the responsibility of all those who believe in a different future for the Middle East. #Terrorismus #AbrahamAccords #Nahost (translated)

Toda raba!
