Kutil then compared Filip Turek to Don Quixote, who fought against windmills, and Petr Macinka to his nodding sidekick Sancho. He wrote that Turek set off against the wind turbines in a thirsty eight-cylinder Mercedes G-Class, while behind him stood a coal mine. The author ironically added that the result of such a battle could be a landscape marked by quarries, tailings ponds, and chimneys, and questioned the idea that an opponent of wind farms must be a hero. #DonQuijote #českákrajina #větrnéelektrárny (translated)

Kutil Onda said that Andrej Babiš tightly struggled with the fact that large cities did not sufficiently appreciate his government, and reminded them who decides on the state budget. He stated that state money is not Babiš's personal gift and that cities are not his subordinates that he could punish for disobedience. He expressed concern that there could be a change in the budgetary allocation of taxes and added that citizens can vote differently than the prime minister wishes. He linked this to his claim that Babiš hates democracy. #politika #demokracie #rozpočet (translated)

A journalist wrote that Andrej Babiš described Jan Grolich as a comedian and entertainer due to his campaign videos. He criticized the ANO movement, which he claimed had long resembled a production company: he mentioned Alena Schillerová's performances in front of the camera, Karel Havlíček in a podcast, and Babiš in a solo show. He pointed out that Grolich had obtained over 63% of the votes in the Vyškov region and won in the first round. According to the author, Babiš was not bothered by political entertainment but by the fact that voters were enjoying themselves with someone else. He congratulated Grolich on his victory and wrote that he had used the main weapon of ANO against the movement itself. #politika #volby #komedie (translated)

The author of the essay wrote that he wanted to apologize to Miloš Jakeš, whose speech at Červený Hrádek he previously considered comical. According to him, Andrej Babiš's appearance on ČT24 after the electoral defeat in Prague shifted this genre into a new dimension. He criticized Babiš for moving from threats to self-pity and insults towards political competitors. He also wrote that during the broadcast, Babiš's bitterness, anger, and malice were apparent, which contrasted with the image of a kind person that the author claims he portrayed during visits to nursing homes. While he perceived Jakeš as a tragicomic figure of the past regime, with Babiš, his laughter "somewhat stiffens." #politika #Babiš #Jakeš (translated)

The author ironically described the acquisition of one representative mandate by Motorists for themselves in Černouček as a historic breakthrough and wrote that the surrounding municipalities had remained calm for now. He linked the success to Thursday's visit by Petr Macinka, who he claimed usually fears the president but took advantage of his absence in the municipality until Friday. Filip Turek, according to the author, celebrated and watched the emissions of the president's plane, which the author compared to his passion for fast cars. The author further stated that Motorists, according to ongoing numbers, remained below the five percent threshold in Prague. He compared their political ride to Turk's passage through the I.P. Pavlova intersection and mentioned that the celebration of the Černouček mandate was accompanied by two glasses of champagne and a press presentation, which he likened to the conquest of the Chamber of Deputies. According to him, further extraordinary news would come only when the Motorists acquired a second councilor. #politika #Českárepublika #historie (translated)

Kutil then said that he was not surprised that the USA could become another supporter of Russian killing in Ukraine, and he referred to Donald Trump as the worst president in US history. He stated that Trump seemed to him to be paying off old debts from his youth. He labeled as absurd the possibility that Trump would provide Moscow with economic and political relief due to hypothetical supplies of Russian oil or diesel, which he claimed represented only a tiny share of the American market. He questioned whether the supplies would even arrive and associated their timing with the November elections. According to him, it might have been enough for Trump if voters believed that oil or diesel were already headed to the USA, while Putin could receive actual money. #Ukrajina #Trump #Rusko (translated)

The author of the article published a satirical text styled as minutes from an extraordinary meeting of the crisis staff. In it, he described President Pavel's return from Morocco, his participation in the elections, acknowledgment of a mistake, and apology as a situation that thwarted the prepared criticism. He attributed to imaginary critics a plan to focus on the cost of the flight, the president's clothing, the car from the airport, his greeting to the electoral commission, and his expression. According to the text, they were to question both the apology and its timing, and to criticize the president regardless of whether he had left or returned. The author concluded by stating that the text is a fictional satire. #politika #satira #prezident (translated)

Kutil then described the "dramatic aftermath" of the diplomatic mission of Černouček and wrote that Foreign Minister Petr Macinka was recovering in his office after the trip to the village where the president is from when he learned that Petr Pavel had returned from Morocco to the Czech Republic and was voting. According to the author, this was followed by changing out of a sweaty suit, checking locks, and inquiring with the secretariat whether the president was indeed far from the ministry. He labeled Czech diplomacy as being in a state of highest alert. #ČeskáPolitika #Diplomacie #PrezidentPavel (translated)

As he aged, Kutil wrote that he increasingly appreciated the significance of Václav Havel for the Czech Republic. He acknowledged that Havel had flaws and there were things to criticize him for, but he also described him as a charismatic personality who retained his humanity. He identified Havel's appearance in the American Congress as the strongest memory, after which there was a long applause. He perceived Havel as a person who, at the time of the country's return to freedom, had an authority independent of the position he held and was someone the country needed at that time. #VáclavHavel #českáhistorie #osobnosti (translated)

Měli jsme v Česku víceméně průměrné vlády. Žádná vyloženě dobrá, spíš podprumer. Klausova éra přinesla klientelismus a symbol „špinavých peněz“, Zeman gaunerský styl včetně „Olova“, Paroubek pak ukázal sílu laciného populismu, třeba kampaní proti poplatkům u lékaře. Ale nikdy v naší historii nebyla vláda postavena z absolutně neschopných, ale všeho schopných gaunerů, jejichž hlavním úkolem je chránit svého majitele před spravedlností a jeho byznys na úkor státu. #politika #ČeskáRepublika #vláda
