Felix Bohr

Felix Bohr wrote that Oskar Schindler was born in 1908 and as a manufacturer saved around 1200 Jews. After 1945, those saved gifted him a ring with a saying from the Talmud, according to which saving a single life is equivalent to saving the whole world. Schindler is considered a "Righteous Among the Nations." https://t.co/NVYImN504F #OskarSchindler #GerechteUnterDenVölkern #Holocaust (translated)

Felix Bohr wrote that the German occupiers had planned the deportation of Danish Jews on the night of October 2, 1943. However, the majority of those persecuted had been warned. Danish fishermen had brought 7,742 people to Sweden by boat; Børge Laursen and Jacob Andersen had made 10 crossings in the process. https://t.co/1EKzfSOKpe #Geschichte #Holocaust #Dänemark (translated)
