Vas. Papatheodorou wrote that most shareholders were initially positive about the creation of franchises, but they did not want their percentage to be diluted with the entry of new shareholders from day one. He mentioned that as long as negotiations with the NBA continued, which, according to him, did not desire new shareholders, the discussion about which team would acquire a franchise, such as PAOK or Dubai, was postponed. He added that when the issue was brought back up, a gradual inclusion of teams into the EuroLeague should be considered, and then the acquisition of shares, instead of the terms that had been discussed until then. #paobc #paokbc #euroleague #nbaeurope #euroleague #nbaeurope #paokbc (translated)

Vas Papadopoulos wrote that Giannakopoulos did not attend the meeting of owners in Como. According to him, G. Angelopoulos had expressed the strongest criticism of the NBA proposal, calling it "colonial and unacceptable," while Barcelona had referred to it as ridiculous. Real had requested 30 days to submit a new proposal. Papadopoulos also mentioned that Olympiakos had opposed the proposal, with Baskonia and Armani agreeing with him. Panathinaikos, according to the post, had requested renegotiation with the NBA and had supported the franchise, a position also agreed upon by Fenner. #paobc #euroleague #nbaeurope #euroleague #nba #basketball (translated)

Vas. Papatheodorou wrote that the CSKA Patras executed 48 free throws, yet still lost. He accused the referees of being humiliated to serve, as he said, their boss and Mavraganis, whom he called the "Thomas of basketball." He claimed that they did not realize what kind of adventure they were putting themselves into and predicted that later they would talk about a conspiracy, as, according to him, others had done years earlier.
