The Galician Nationalist Bloc deeply lamented the passing of Xosé Manuel Beiras, whom it described as a fundamental figure of contemporary Galician nationalism and the history of the organization itself. It indicated that Beiras had served as the national spokesperson for the BNG and as a spokesperson in the Parliament of Galicia for two decades. The organization expressed its affection and sorrow to the family, friends, and close individuals, and stated that his voice, political and economic thought, and his commitment to Galicia were already part of the collective memory of the country. #Galiza #nacionalismo #Beiras (translated)
