Horrified by the images and reports from Tel al-Hawa — my condolences to the families of those killed and wounded. Even if the IDF’s claim that the strike hit “Hamas engineers” is accurate, that doesn’t absolve the duty to protect civilians: strikes that maim or kill bystanders, terrorize communities, and shred bodies at Al-Shifa are unacceptable and demand an independent, transparent investigation. We need accountability, humanitarian access, and an immediate push for a sustainable ceasefire and a political solution that ends the endless cycle of violence and collective punishment. Donor states and arms suppliers must stop treating this as a military football and start insisting on respect for international law and human rights for everyone in the region. 😢
