Το Σάββατο το βράδυ στην Χίο είχα την μεγάλη Τιμή να με προσκαλέσει η οικογένεια του Καπετάν Παναγιώτη Τσάκου στα εγκαίνια του νέου τμήματος της Σχολής του Εμπορικού Ναυτικού που έχουν φτιάξει στην Χίο. Από το 2011 που είχα για ένα μικρό διάστημα τις αρμοδιότητες του Υπουργού Ναυτιλίας είχα αντιληφθεί την ανάγκη να μην αφελληνιστούν πλήρως τα πληρώματα του εμπορικού μας στόλου. Το θαύμα της Ελληνικής Εμπορικής Ναυτιλίας πρέπει να συνεχιστεί. Χαίρομαι που η τάση απομειώσεως των Ελληνικής καταγωγής πληρωμάτων έχει αρχίσει να αντιστρέφεται.
