Vasso Koulpa, the mother of Anastasios Koutsopoulos, described in her testimony at the trial for the Tempe disaster how she said goodbye to her son before he boarded the train. She mentioned that he was initially scheduled to leave the next day and that he had shown her his new mobile phone, which, as he told her, could be used to call in case of an accident. Koulpa said that at 11:05, Tasos informed her by phone that the train was delayed and that he was in Larissa. Later, when he did not answer her calls, her husband speculated that there might not have been a signal along the route. At 12:15, as she reported, her son George informed her that the train had derailed. The family set off for Larissa, and upon arriving at the scene, she was searching for Tasos among the injured and the people who were crying. At the hospital, according to her testimony, she saw a stretcher being taken down from an ambulance that carried a bag with a dead body, and she tried to determine if the body was her son’s. Later, she told the investigating judge that she did not know what exactly she had received, describing how her child had been burned. She claimed that Tasos had survived the collision and could have been saved if the fire had not broken out. Koulpa stated that she wanted to know the truth and requested that the investigation and justice not be influenced by political considerations. She also said that she did not accept human error as an explanation and called for all evidence to be examined.

When life copies movies. What happened on the Flydubai plane with the terrorist pilot, the Indian pilot who was attacked and had the strength to open the cockpit door, and the Israeli heroes who ultimately prevented the crash, saving hundreds of lives while managing to save the severely injured pilot, is a movie script that became a reality. It's one of those things you say are impossible to happen, exaggerations, no way it happened like that, but in the end there will always be people who, with bravery, will prove to us that the soul, courage, and mind can make the impossible possible. These men are an example for all humanity. On the occasion, while the male gender is being vilified and attacked in various ways, it would be good to reconsider some issues regarding "stereotypes" that do not need deconstruction. The terrorists once again proved what they are. Twisted beings, murderous machines, who insidiously and cold-bloodedly kill innocents. Allahu Akbar the terrorist. It's just a coincidence.

21 days later and it still feels like a bad joke. I wish you could see from somewhere peacefully, embracing your Aretha, ALL the world that listens to you and longs for you. You burst into our lives with a bang and left with a bang. You shook a corrupt system to its core, exposing frauds... because you always did ONLY good and EVERYONE says this. We miss you unbelievably, we will never forget you. We will always sing for you with sadness, not for our own problems, but for your such unfair and inhumane death. You did not deserve such an end. We will not let them escape. An emptiness for 21 days now.
