MisterChip (Alexis) stated that only two teams in the history of football had won their first four matches after winning a World Cup. He cited Argentina, which after Qatar 2022 defeated Panama, Curacao, Australia, and Indonesia in friendlies, and Spain, which after North America 2026 beat England at Wembley, Croatia, Czech Republic, and again Croatia in Split, in UEFA Nations League matches. #Fútbol #Mundial #Selecciones (translated)

São Paulo Women's team informed that defender Carol Gil was called up on Monday (05) for two international friendlies by the Brazilian National Team. According to the club, she would join Carlinha, Tayla, and fitness coach Camila to face Argentina on October 10 in Porto Alegre (RS), and on the 13th in Recife (PE). #FutebolFeminino #SeleçãoBrasileira #AmistososInternacionais (translated)

The author accused Vero Brunati and other critics of repeating arguments about the friendly matches without modifying the text and described them as people paid to attack the AFA. He argued that the matches were originally planned to be held in China and that, in that case, Lionel Messi would not have been able to say goodbye to the national team in Argentina and in front of his fans. He also stated that FIFA recognized the friendlies as Class A matches, which allowed pending sanctions for Enzo, Thiago, and members of the coaching staff, including Ayala, to be fulfilled before the qualifiers. According to the author, holding the dates in China would not have allowed Argentina to comply with the attendance sanction, meaning the national team would have faced a qualifying match with reduced capacity. He added that the AFA took advantage of the friendlies to say goodbye to Messi in front of his fans, fulfill the sanctions, and avoid problems in the qualifiers. He accused those who criticized the AFA of also positioning themselves against Messi, Lionel Scaloni, and the national team. #AFA #Messi #Eliminatorias (translated)

Palermista stated that friendly matches did not allow players to show their true level or connect with their teammates, nor did they help the coach to assess their performance. He added that they were a lack of respect to genuine fans who paid large sums to watch a training session. #Fútbol #Deportes #Hinchas (translated)

Fabri rated the friendlies as a lack of respect towards the players, the coaching staff, and especially the fans, who, as he wrote, had paid very high ticket prices without seeing at least the starters from Burkina Faso. He also accused Tapia and the AFA of mocking the fans and stated that, without Messi, the situation would begin to change and "everything ends up falling by its own weight." #Fútbol #AFA #Messi (translated)

The Braga Central questioned why, according to its evaluation, Brazilians were identifying less and less with the national team each year. The author criticized those responsible for not organizing friendlies in Brazil to bring the fans closer to the team and stated that the matches continued to be held in the United States and Asia. #SeleçãoBrasileira #Futebol #Torcida (translated)

Daniel Avellaneda wrote that, according to Romain Molina, only one player from the Burkina Faso national team was traveling to Buenos Aires and the team that would arrive would be the Under-23s. Norberto Dupesso added that the plane was scheduled to land at 3:30 PM, while the match would start at 9 PM. Avellaneda stated that a different team had shown up than the one announced and described the match as a "global disgrace." He also recalled that Lionel Scaloni had said in a press conference that the opponent would make the match more challenging than against Bolivia, due to occupying the 62nd position in the FIFA ranking, but claimed that Argentina would not face that team. He added, in an ironic tone, that the African players would go through Immigration and would play with their passports in their pockets. #Fútbol #Amistoso #Deportes (translated)

In a message directed to La12tuittera, NPC said he hoped that the captain and the other summoned understood the importance of the string of key matches for the team and prioritized the club that paid them over the friendlies, which he harshly dismissed. #Fútbol #Equipo #Partidos (translated)
