The publication summarized that, in Ana Elisa's video, political life would be on cell phone screens, not in the streets. It also advocated stepping out of the bubble and resorting to other means, such as Facebook, to gain more votes. According to the author, rallies did not elect candidates; what mattered was controlling the content displayed on cell phone screens. #Política #Eleições2024 #RedesSociais (translated)

Renato Souza stated that workers who are victims of robberies did not want to hear justifications about prison overcrowding, rehabilitation, or temporary releases. He questioned the lack of a plan to prevent the entry of cell phones into prisons and to combat the drug trade and other goods in the prison system. According to Souza, even soap could generate income for factions, and basic items should be provided by the State, without being blocked by the penal police, to prevent criminal groups from profiting from their entry into prisons. Souza also said that the right, although it was the majority in Congress, was not making changes in the area of public security but knew how to say what the population wanted to hear. He argued that the left should adopt a zero-tolerance discourse against crime and stated that the State should not allow criminal organizations and militias to dictate rules in the country’s territories. He said that Brazil should be concerned about an internal war against these organizations before turning its attention to the war in Ukraine. #SegurançaPública #CrimeOrganizado #DireitosHumanos (translated)

Haddad questioned Tarcísio about security in SP: feminicides, cell phone thefts, organized crime, and neglected police stations and precincts. How can one say that everything is getting better in light of this scenario? #DebateNaGlobo #DebateNaGlobo https://t.co/9uzAtkClGz #SegurançaPública #Feminicídio #CrimeOrganizado (translated)

We are breaking records of femicide, racial nature, and intolerance against the LGBT community in the state of São Paulo. Out of every ten stolen cell phones in Brazil, three are in the state of São Paulo and two in the capital. Tarcísio says that everything is getting better.
