The last scout wrote that the motorists "found themselves in a spasm" and recalled Filip Turek's statement for iDNES regarding the president's return from vacation. According to him, Turek questioned whether plasma televisions and powerful vacuum cleaners were being limited for the sake of climate protection while the president had used a private jet for his return trip. He also called for the publication of invoices and proof of payments for the flight so that, according to him, suspicions of non-monetary bribery would not arise. #politika #ekologie #korupce (translated)

Roman Kolář asked why the activists from Last Generation, who glued themselves to roads during Petr Fiala's government, were now silent according to him. He claimed that their protests helped motorists in the elections and questioned whether they were bothered by Filip Turk's and Petr Macinka's approach to ecology. He was also interested in the investigation of the factory fire in Pardubice, which produced equipment for Ukraine. He wrote that, according to available claims, leftist perpetrators set it on fire believing it served Israel, and he asked if it was already known who had incited them. In response to Tomáš Dvořák's text, he stated that Russia, in his view, supported the division of society and political extremes across the spectrum through disinformation and fake accounts. Therefore, he did not consider the left to be a lesser threat than the right. In Germany, he identified AfD, Die Linke, and BSW as pro-Russian entities. In France, he believed that in political conflict, Marine Le Pen and Jean-Luc Mélenchon would likely face each other; both, according to Kolář, rejected assistance to Ukraine. #politika #ekologie #dezinformace (translated)

"More than a thousand new jobs just because of two new taxes – that is bureaucratic madness that we could have expected. Instead of the government finally reviewing expenditures and existing structures, it is once again trying to patch budget holes with new taxes. This is the wrong way," said Reiner Holznagel from the German Taxpayers' Association. #daně #ekologie #zdraví (translated)

❗️When we tried to ask the director of the Czech Environmental Inspectorate, Pavel Straka, about the criminal past of his family, which he himself was allegedly involved in according to a former court lawyer, he ran away from us. ❗️The chief official, who has a decisive say in the (non)resolution of billion-dollar environmental cases, came to introduce himself to the legislators today after months of delays. ❗️However, the lawmakers of the governing coalition voted that the meeting would be closed to the public. Therefore, the official, who prohibited his subordinates from putting even his photograph on the website and tried to keep his biography secret, will not be heard speaking in public again. https://t.co/RGiklSrhVn #ekologie #Českáinspekcizivotníhoprostředí #politika (translated)
