The author wrote that defending rapists and making distasteful jokes about rape was disgusting and showed a disconnect from reality and from one’s own soul. They said hearing another woman’s story broke their heart and expressed hope for a future in which men loved and protected women and children.

Around the world, women & girls continue to face discrimination, violence & abuse. Their rights are rolled back, their voices silenced, their bodies turned into battlegrounds & their freedoms treated as bargaining chips. This is an outrage & a profound waste for humanity. https://t.co/vDUOeYSQ90 #WomensRights #EndViolence #GenderEquality #Nospecificcountrycodescanbeidentifiedinthetweetprovided.

Hamas doesn't exist in Lebanon, Syria or West Bank. None of those places were involved in October 7. So why is Israel mass murdering people in all of them as well as stealing their land? Answers on a postcard please. #IsraelPalestine #HumanRights #EndViolence #LB #SY #PS #IL

"It is an epidemic. The courts are full of women seeking barring and harassment orders. Thousands of children are growing up in violent homes." The relentless violence against civilians in Sudan continues, with no end in sight. Drone attacks have killed dozens in North Kordofan, including a Red Crescent volunteer. Even wars have rules. These rules apply to all parties to the conflict. #Sudan #HumanRights #EndViolence #SD #NR

#JusticeForHenry #PoliceAccountability #EndViolence
