🚨 Kevin Diaz: "OUSMANE DEMBÉLÉ 🇫🇷 IS NOT A STRIKER AND WILL NEVER BE A STRIKER! ❌ He is not a number 9, he will not be Giroud 🇫🇷. He is good at PSG because he plays in a setup where HE HAS THE FREEDOM TO MOVE BASED ON HIS PARTNERS." https://t.co/sbVdnlNjGt #Dembélé #PSG #Football (translated)

"PEOPLE WANTED TO SEE KARIM (Benzema) IN MY PLACE." "Do you remember, we sang "I AM THE UNLOVED…"" Olivier GIROUD really struggled during the time with the Blues when he was constantly teased about the situation surrounding Benzema. 😢 https://t.co/frGNUQqFZH #Foot #Bleus #Benzema (translated)

🚨 Olivier Giroud 🇫🇷: "Ethan Mbappé 🇫🇷? I met him in Istra, where the French team was staying in Russia. HE WAS 11 YEARS OLD. Playing with him later is amazing, but I’m not too out of touch with them, except for musical and fashion tastes. But I adapt and I’m a good life-lover. Some didn’t even know that I had been the champion of France with Montpellier (in 2012)… IT’S FUNNY, WE EXCHANGE ABOUT THAT, THEY DON’T KNOW MY BACKGROUND." #Giroud #Mbappé #ÉquipeDeFrance (translated)

This anecdote from Olivier GIROUD 🇫🇷 about Zlatan IBRAHIMOVIC 🇸🇪 👇😭: "He killed me when I arrived in Milan! He welcomed me and then said: 'It's cool that you're coming, but know that here, there is only one King and it's me.' 😂 A character and a great meeting." ❤️ 🎙️ @lequipe #Football #OlivierGiroud #ZlatanIbrahimovic (translated)

🎙️ You were never actually considered the chosen one, as Kylian Mbappé said? 🗣️ Olivier GIROUD 🇫🇷: "Kylian, it's a completely different trajectory, HE WAS THE LITTLE PRINCE: at 19 years old, he had a crazy World Cup, he has an extraordinary path, captain of the blues at 26-27 years old. 👏 For me, I had to work a bit harder for things, even though he also worked hard to be there. This journey is my pride. I know where I come from. When you start your career, you think about going to the blues, but winning a World Cup, exceeding 100 caps... The first time in the blues, the jersey is heavy, the first Marseillaise, you get chills. And I'm not far from scoring against the United States. I couldn't have imagined that there would be 136 to follow... MY CAREER HAS EXCEEDED ALL MY CHILDHOOD DREAMS!!!

🤩 (…) Dans ta tête de compétiteur, tu as TOUJOURS PEUR DE FAIRE L’ANNÉE TROP… IL FAUT S’ENLEVER ÇA DE LA TÊTE. Moi J’AVAIS PAS TROP DE DOUTES, je voulais bien finir ma carrière. 😁 » 🎙️ @lequipe #Paix #Carrière #OlivierGiroud

🚨 N’GOLO KANTÉ 🇫🇷 A PENSÉ À PRENDRE SA RETRAITE INTERNATIONALE APRÈS LA COUPE DU MONDE 2018, révèle Olivier Giroud. Tu as encore de superbes années devant toi.” Et quand Rüdiger m’a dit ça (pourquoi il n’a pas pris sa retraite internationale), je lui ai répondu : “LA SÉLECTION, C’EST LE FIL ROUGE DE MA CARRIÈRE, LA CERISE SUR LE GÂTEAU, C’EST UNE IMMENSE FIERTÉ, UN HONNEUR.” Et j’ai bien fait, J’AI ÉTÉ CHANCEUX DE VIVRE AUTANT D’ÉMOTIONS AVEC CETTE ÉQUIPE. » 🎙️ @lequipe #NGoloKante #EquipeDeFrance #RetraiteInternational

🥲 « C’est THE LAST DANCE, très probablement...
