Lightning makes #Bitcoin a means of payment for everyday transactions: immediately, almost without fees, even for a few cents. According to the new draft law from the Federal Ministry of Finance, each of these payments would be a taxable event. Every payment made with Bitcoin is considered a sale. For every coffee, one must determine the profit and pay 25 percent tax, without a de minimis threshold. Those who use Lightning will thus have hundreds of taxable events in a year. The exchange against other cryptocurrencies is also taxed, even if no euro is involved. In this context, the ministry itself describes Bitcoin as a "means of exchange." Those who define Bitcoin this way and then tax every exchange turn ordinary users into tax offenders against their will. After all, no one can accurately account for hundreds of small payments. Innovation will then take place elsewhere, just not in Germany.

#Roboty #Chiny #Propaganda

TV21 Biography by Andy Kellman The new wave band TV21 formed in the late '70s, comprising drummer Colin Maclean, guitarist Ally Palmer, bassist Neil Baldwin, and vocalist/guitarist Norman Rodger. The band took their name from Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson's fanzine. After releasing their first two singles on Powerbeat in early 1980, they recorded a session for John Peel's BBC radio program. Another pair of singles followed for the Demon label in 1981. Maclean split and was replaced by Ali Patterson, a former member of the Rezillos. Deram snapped the group up and issued A Thin Red Line in late 1981, the band's only long-player. Renowned producer and musician Ian Broudie (Original Mirrors, the Lightning Seeds), who had produced one of the group's earlier singles, loaned his skills to one of the songs on the record. Yet another single followed in early 1982, and the group's potential hit a peak when they opened a series of shows for the Rolling Stones as they toured Scotland. However, TV21 felt they had reached an impasse musically and opted to break up by the middle of the year. https://hvdommelen.nl/t/TV21.html
The fire had spread at "lightning speed" and with "gale-force winds"; what firefighters had managed to save was "truly a miracle".
Well, expect more of this: "...climate changes have steadily increased the global risk of lightning-ignited wildfires" https://t.co/qeafZbqZpj #ClimateChange #Wildfires #Lightning #Nospecificcountrycodesarementionedinthetweet.
Explanation: Climate change is what spreads wildfire, not what usually starts it (except lightnings). Without drought, thousands cigarettes will not start a big wildfire. Not a rocket science. #ClimateChange #Wildfire #Drought #Nocountrycodesidentified.
