Piotr Kusznieruk criticized Włodzimierz Czarzasty, asking about the reaction of the Marshal of the Sejm to Rutkowski's speech. He claimed that women reporting violence and drug intoxication were presented in the Sejm almost like prostitutes. He accused feminists, the Women's Strike, and women's rights defenders of silence, adding that in the case of an opposition politician, there would already be conferences, protests, and demands for resignation. He asked whether women are being publicly humiliated to protect a specific politician. https://t.co/tbW6FwgkKM #Kobiety #Feminizm #Przemoc (translated)

Adam Czarnecki recommended the entry of Niebezpiecznik criticizing the draft act implementing the DSA, which — as he wrote — is bad. According to Czarnecki, the draft stipulated that the President of the Office of Electronic Communications could issue orders to remove or block content. Until now, it was an independent civil court that decided whether a statement violated the law or someone's rights, in proceedings where both parties could defend themselves. Czarnecki claimed that according to the draft, an official could independently assess the legality of content, the proceedings would primarily rely on evidence provided by the complainant, the author of the entry would not have the guarantee of being heard before the block, and the order would be subject to immediate execution. He assessed that an appeal to the administrative court would not solve the problem, as the court would only verify the formal correctness of the office's actions, and the content could disappear from the internet for many months before the case is considered. According to Czarnecki, the draft also included the protection of personal rights. He warned that a councilor, mayor, minister, or company that deemed a critical article or comment offensive could use a fast track to file a request to the office instead of seeking redress in court. He also pointed out that this procedure did not cover the leaks of personal data of ordinary citizens. Czarnecki accused Donald Tusk of exploiting the current attacks in schools to introduce regulations. He referred to Krzysztof Bosak's term, who called it "disgusting exploitation of tragedy." He appealed for improvements to the law instead of its quick enactment. He added that the ABW can already block content of a terrorist nature under EU regulation 2021/784 and a law signed by President Andrzej Duda in 2024. #DSA #Ustawa #WolnośćSłowa (translated)

Konrad Berkowicz wrote that the Speaker of the Sejm, whom he described as the second person in the state, spoke from the stage in a vulgar manner about defecating and invited people to use drugs and engage in casual sex with him and members of his party. He added that the deputies had been chanting vulgar slogans, and some described the President of the Republic of Poland with offensive words suggesting pimping and criminality. Berkowicz noted that the same individuals were outraged by the term "courtesan" and stated that the truth upset them the most. #Polityka #Sejm #WolnośćSłowa (translated)

"One must consistently fight for women's rights and not give up" - wrote Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty on platform X, stating that on Thursday at 9 a.m. an Extraordinary Committee will convene to consider legislative proposals regarding the right to abortion. #aborcja #prawakobiet #zmianyprawne (translated)

The author of the entry informed that after a two-year break, the abortion committee was supposed to resume its meetings. He wrote that Czarzasty had come to an agreement with Tusk, and the Left announced it would withdraw its female MPs from the committee if it was not convened. #PL (translated)

The Institute of Truth informed that the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw has filed an indictment in court against eight individuals regarding irregularities at the National Centre for Research and Development. According to the description, they were accused of, among other things, participating in a criminal organization, fraud to the detriment of NCBiR, issuing false VAT invoices, and money laundering. Investigators established that between 2021 and 2023, companies were created without any actual research and development activities to obtain public funds. The author described SMS correspondence from 2017 between Adam Bielan, his wife Klaudia, and Piotr M., the president of Chime Networks and one of the main accused. The company sought around 123 million PLN for the "Cable" project concerning underwater fiber optic infrastructure. According to the accounts from journalists of the podcast "In Connection with the Investigation," Dominika Długosz and Mariusz Gierszewski, Bielan was supposed to assist in organizing a meeting between Piotr M. and a Qatari delegation, and his wife received a presentation from the company and declared she would pass it on to her husband. Bielan was not charged. The Institute of Truth emphasized that Bielan had denied any close relationship with Piotr M. and involvement in the "Cable" project. He claimed to have met him through Jacek Żalek, and the meeting with the Qataris was of a courtesy nature; later, he was supposed to warn against the project. Żalek, on the other hand, maintained that Bielan and Piotr M. had known each other for years. The author recalled that Żalek was accused, among other things, of exceeding authority and accepting bribes, while the European Prosecutor's Office accused Piotr M. of attempting to defraud funding. The contract for 123 million PLN was ultimately not signed. The author stressed that the correspondence from 2017 does not prove Bielan's involvement in the later grant application, but indicates his contacts with the entrepreneur and assistance in organizing a high-level meeting. He added that Bielan was not included in the indictment. #InstytutPrawdy #NCBiR #oszustwa #przestępczość (translated)

Zbigniew Bogucki called the election of Włodzimierz Czarzasty as the speaker of the Sejm "a blemish on Polish democracy" and stated that Czarzasty should never have taken this position. He recalled Winston Churchill's words about the imperfections of democracy and assessed that the case of the current speaker is one of them. He added that he, the President of the Republic of Poland, and the Chancellery of the President respect the choice due to democratic and state principles, but he accused Czarzasty of a rude manner of speaking and a lack of respect for matters that he should uphold as the speaker. According to Bogucki, the speaker should be an arbiter and a bastion of calm; meanwhile, Czarzasty engaged in strong, sometimes — as the author put it — pathetic narratives. #demokracja #Polska #Sejm (translated)

The author of the entry agreed with Fogiel that Poles should choose their authorities, but called for the consistent application of this principle. He pointed to the presidential elections of 2025 and questioned the method of constitutional verification of their results. He recalled that Article 129 of the Constitution, as he wrote, guarantees voters the right to submit protests, and the election oversight should be conducted in a procedure that meets constitutional standards. He stated that 55,274 protests had been submitted to the Supreme Court. He also claimed that the National Electoral Commission indicated the need to address the protests and to determine the validity of the election by a Supreme Court panel whose institutional and personal status would not raise doubts. According to the author, the Electoral Commission recorded recurring errors in the protocols of some polling stations and called for a more thorough analysis of their causes. The author emphasized that the validity of the election was determined by the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs, whose status as a court established by law—as he noted—remained a subject of dispute. He added that proceedings regarding irregularities in vote counting were still ongoing. He mentioned cases of incorrect assignment of votes to candidates, allegations against commission members, and acts of accusation. He stated that in one of the cases, the prosecutor accused 24 commission members of dishonestly counting votes and preparing protocols. He noted that he did not claim that a change in the overall election result had been proven. As he wrote, the prosecutor is examining individual commissions separately, which allows establishing what happened in a specific commission but does not determine the overall scale of irregularities in the country. According to the author, it cannot be assumed that the errors confirmed in successive commissions could not be significant in a cumulative sense until their scale has been established. The author considered that the mere assertion that Poles elected a president does not end the discussion about the integrity of the elections. He asked whether all votes were counted correctly, whether the protests were addressed in accordance with constitutional requirements, and whether the body stating the validity of the election met the Supreme Court's standard required by Article 129. He also wrote that Speaker Szymon Hołownia was aware of these doubts, yet convened the National Assembly, allowing the office to be assumed. He emphasized, however, that he could not say that politicians chose a president instead of citizens, because it was Poles who voted. #wybory #Polska #konstytucja (translated)

Devil Stockton wrote that the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw has submitted an indictment against eight people in connection with the fraudulent procurement of funds from the National Center for Research and Development. According to the author, the defendants were accused of participating in a criminal organization, defrauding the State Treasury, issuing fictitious invoices, and money laundering. The entry described the findings of the investigation, according to which between 2021 and 2023, companies were created to obtain public subsidies for projects without actual research and development activities. The author referred to materials that journalists Dominika Długosz and Mariusz Gierszewski from the podcast "In connection with the investigation" had obtained. As he wrote, these contained text messages between Adam Bielan, his wife Klaudia Bielan, and Piotr M., one of the main defendants. The correspondence reportedly concerned the "Cable" project, for which Piotr M.'s company was to receive a subsidy of 123 million PLN. According to the entry, Bielan helped organize a meeting between Piotr M. and a Qatari delegation, and Klaudia Bielan received the company presentation and declared that she would pass it on to her husband. Stockton noted that Bielan denied involvement in the project and described the meeting with the Qataris as courtesy. The author also quoted Jacek Żałek's position, who reportedly claimed that Bielan and Piotr M. had known each other for years. He emphasized that Bielan had not been accused so far, before accusing him of close ties with individuals suspected of defrauding public funds. The entry concluded with an insult directed at Bielan and a vulgar allusion to corporal punishment for theft and lying. #InstytutPrawdy #korupcja #afera #polityka (translated)

Samuel Pereira wrote that Włodzimierz Czarzasty has not liked President Karol Nawrocki for years. He claimed that after the annexation of Crimea by Russia, Czarzasty, along with the Russian ambassador Andriyev, referred to the perpetrators of the murders as liberators and defended Soviet monuments that Nawrocki, as the president of the Institute of National Remembrance, was dismantling. https://t.co/LLoobdKZdT #Czarzasty #Nawrocki #Polska (translated)

Samuel Pereira wrote that the journalist from WPolsce.pl, Krzysztof Nowina-Konopka, was the only one during the press conference to draw the attention of the Speaker of the Sejm, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, to the lack of culture in the public debate. Pereira assessed that Czarzasty responded to him angrily and arrogantly. He added that the Speaker should remember that he is paid by the citizens and has obligations towards them. The post also included hashtags with the names Święczkowski and Nawrocki, as well as the name WPolsce24. #Czarzasty #Święczkowski #Nawrocki #Nowina #Konopka #WPolsce24 #kultura #Polityka #Kultura #DebataPubliczna (translated)

Mrs. President praised Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty, stating that for a long time he had been acting assertively towards a person she described in an insulting manner. She remarked that the president signed the bill concerning fuel prices the day before, under pressure and out of fear of public opinion, although he could have done it two months earlier. She criticized the delay and the president's later address, suggesting — in her opinion — that he himself had provided people with cheaper fuel. She added that one should not withdraw, because pressure works. #Polityka #CenyPaliw #PresjaSpołeczna (translated)
