#secularisme #vrijheidvanmeningsuiting #religieuzeintegratie

Another instance of what I call "disbelief about belief": the religious belief in martyrdom and rewards in the afterlife is so alien and bizarre to secular Westerners that many assume the "human shields" strategy (as used by Hamas) must be a myth, a lie, or an invention. https://t.co/je6sDU3kCI #Martyrdom #HumanShields #Secularism
I am happy to be a part of the much awaited European initiative. I hope Europe will soon wake up from her lethargy, and with a greater pace, would become self-sufficient and 'one voice'. I believe in European values of freedom, openness, secularism, socialism and human sanctity. I also believe that Europe can show The Way. Those who are astrophysics-minded- here is my small input as a resident of Europe (I hope someday Europeans will be able to publish audio and video podcasts from European Channels): Enjoy! It is notable how the Pope is the only religious authority in the world that wields intellectual authority even among secular people. No one secular cares what the Bishop of Canterbury or the Grand Ayatollah have to say. #Pope #IntellectualAuthority #Secularism #Thetweetdoesnotspecificallymentionanycountriesbyname #thereforetherearenocountrycodestoreturn.
