Going forward, an autonomous social media account would require children to be 15. For 13-14 year-olds, parents could set up mini accounts with limited features and screen time, while keeping full oversight. #SocialMediaSafety #Parenting #Teenagers #Therearenospecificcountriesmentionedinthetweetyouprovided. Therefore #therearenocountrycodestoreturn.

The allegations against Meta are serious. But instead of simply asking whether children should be allowed on social media, perhaps we should ask a different question: Should social media be continuously available to children? I would propose a system of scheduled access windows, with the platform itself enforcing the boundaries. A possible weekly schedule Monday–Thursday 06:30–07:30 — 🟢 Open 07:30–15:30 — 🔴 Closed 15:30–16:30 — 🟢 Open 16:30–18:00 — 🔴 Closed 18:00–19:00 — 🟢 Open 19:00–21:00 — 🔴 Closed 21:00 onward — 🔴 Closed Friday 06:30–07:30 — 🟢 Open 07:30–15:30 — 🔴 Closed 15:30–17:00 — 🟢 Open 17:00–19:00 — 🔴 Closed 19:00–21:00 — 🟢 Open 21:00 onward — 🔴 Closed Saturday 08:00–09:00 — 🟢 Open 09:00–10:00 — 🔴 Closed 10:00–12:00 — 🟢 Open 12:00–14:00 — 🔴 Closed 14:00–16:00 — 🟢 Open 16:00–18:00 — 🔴 Closed 18:00–20:00 — 🟢 Open 20:00–22:00 — 🔴 Closed 22:00–23:00 — 🟢 Open 23:00 onward — 🔴 Closed Sunday 08:00–09:00 — 🟢 Open 09:00–10:00 — 🔴 Closed 10:00–12:00 — 🟢 Open 12:00–14:00 — 🔴 Closed 14:00–16:00 — 🟢 Open 16:00–18:00 — 🔴 Closed 18:00–20:00 — 🟢 Open 20:00 onward — 🔴 Closed The exact timetable could obviously be debated and adjusted according to age. The important principle is that the social network itself creates the stopping points. During closed periods, messages and notifications could simply be queued. Nothing disappears. But there is no infinite scrolling at 2 a.m., no checking the phone every five minutes, and no expectation that the online social world must be available every waking moment. It also creates a completely different incentive for the platforms. Instead of: “How do we keep this child engaged for another hour?” the objective becomes: “How do we make the hour they have available genuinely worthwhile?” And perhaps weekends should deliberately be different. Children and teenagers should have more freedom when they are not in school — but even then, social media doesn’t need to become a 16-hour continuous session. This would not ban social media. It would regulate continuous access. Maybe that is the better question to ask: If a technology is genuinely safe for children, why must it be available to them 24 hours a day? https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2026/08/14/mark-zuckerbergs-meta-heads-to-court-to-face-youth-social-media-addiction-claims-from-29-states/

First post, checking out this new platform. It would be awesome if we could indeed keep it authentic, AI-generate sales pitch free and without so-called influencers. I'm a Dutch BPM (that is business process management) professional, more importantly a father of three teenagers and husband to a wonderful lady (our 25 yrs anniversary is coming up)... Love to write about a lot of things: BPM (of course), basketball, hip hop music, common sense (and who the world is running out of it) and whatever else is interesting... Nice to e-meet you all!!!

Are racist attacks just going to become a normal part of summer? Nobody should be attacked because of where they are from. The teenagers haven't licked this racism off a stone. It's being promoted and propagated by politicians and social media. https://t.co/UbOIhGY3lb #Racism #StopTheHate #SocialJustice #Thetweetdoesnotmentionanyspecificcountries #sotherearenocountrycodestoreturn.
