Press Briefs indicated that, according to Ipsos BVA, Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella had lost four and three points of popularity respectively in one month. The account then mentioned the anti-Semitic remarks attributed to the president of the National Rally, who denies being the author, and the elements published by Mediapart: testimonies, data extractions from Meta made under the watch of the media and a bailiff, as well as correspondence between Bardella's public posts and private messages from the implicated account. It also mentioned biographical details that reappeared eleven years later, and that, according to him, Bardella was the only one who knew at the time. Press Briefs also reported that, according to Le Canard enchaîné, the content of one of Bardella's Facebook accounts had been completely deleted in recent days, while he claimed that his personal accounts had not existed for a long time. The account described Bardella's reaction as silence and a leap forward, then wondered whether far-right activists would blame him more for his strategy of lies than for the remarks themselves. #politique #antisémitisme #RassemblementNational (translated)
