The author criticized Trump's actions towards Ukraine and described them as shocking. According to him, the deals would increase Russia's war fund, and their purpose would only be to boost Republican support in the upcoming midterm elections. He also believed that Trump rightly received criticism from his own party. https://t.co/m4k7540VsN #Ukraina #Trump #Venäjä #UA #RU (translated)

Mika Merano wrote that the concern over the support for the National Coalition Party had led to communication guidelines, which he claimed originated from Ellun Kanoilta or imams. He assessed that the guidelines resulted in criticism from the Finns Party and discussions about inheritance tax. Merano said he understood why the National Coalition Party did not want to eliminate inheritance tax by reducing an equivalent amount of development aid. According to him, the party's target program committed to the UN's sustainable development principles, which indicated using 0.7 percent of gross national product for development aid. Merano estimated that this meant doubling the current development aid of about one billion euros. He argued that development aid could not be cut if the goal was to increase the use of tax funds for what he described as virtue signaling and for financing, among other things, swimming pools, private zoos, and golf courses. According to him, this would be the case even if the cut would allow for the elimination of the inheritance tax. #Kokoomus #Perintövero #Kehitysapu (translated)

Sture Fjäder wrote that his party was in third place and the support for the PS had increased. According to him, the party's support would not grow unless its chairman announced that the National Coalition Party would not join a blue-red government. Fjäder mentioned that the discussion was heated about whether the National Coalition Party would join a blue-red government instead of a right-center government, and estimated that this would undermine the party's support. #vaalit2027 https://t.co/FI3ByOSP3i #vaalit #politiikka #puolueet (translated)

Mikael Lith disputed the claim by Muhis Azizi, the leading figure of the Turku Coalition, that the racism scandals of the True Finns had led to a decline in the support for the Coalition. According to Lith, Azizi strongly supported immigration and wanted the Coalition to ally with the red-green parties to increase it. Lith reminded that Azizi had already described the immigration policies of the government program in 2023 as "unequal" and "discriminatory." https://t.co/s1Hs3RHY2I #politiikka #maahanmuutto #rasismi (translated)

Sture Fjäder described the speeches of the chairperson of the SDP as arrogant boasting. According to him, the Centre Party could not enter a government like that of 2019 with its current support, as it would be suicide for the party. Fjäder also assessed that the third-place National Coalition Party could not join a blue-red government, as its support would further decline. #vaalit2027 https://t.co/BkIrQe5Sot #vaalit #politiikka #Suomi (translated)

Hannele Al-Hamzawi wrote that the reasons for the decline in support for the National Coalition Party should be sought in the party's own actions rather than blaming the Finns Party. She described the politics of the National Coalition Party as misogynistic and supportive of Islam, and assessed that such politics did not gain support in the current situation in Europe and Finland. https://t.co/q1scYNf1Ew #Kokoomus #Politiikka #Suomi (translated)

Sture Fjäder wrote that a majority of the EU had voted in favor of adding the Muslim Brotherhood to the terrorist list and that all of Finland's leftist MEPs had voted against it. He wondered why Sirpa Pietikäinen, a member of his party, the National Coalition Party, was among the opponents and linked the decline in the party's support to this. #EU #terroristijärjestöt https://t.co/EtNJkVcjKr #EU #terrorismi #politiikka (translated)

Riku-Mikael Leppänen wondered about the decline in support for the National Coalition Party and wrote that he considers the reason for it a complete mystery. According to him, Orpo could invite more female influencers to Kesäranta. https://t.co/7ALTrEnzms #Kokoomus #politiikka #vaalit (translated)

Petteri Hietanen denied that the decline in support for the National Coalition Party was due to the Finns Party. According to him, the National Coalition Party lost support because, in his opinion, it did not serve right-wing Finns sufficiently, protected the elite, and catered to the media and the left. Hietanen also criticized the party for not having fixed the YEL system, exaggerating racism, and failing to address lax spending. #Kokoomus #politiikka #Suomi (translated)

Jouko S. wrote that the decline in support for the National Coalition Party was, in his opinion, solely the fault of the Finns Party. He estimated that the support for the National Coalition Party would continue to decline because the party's representatives were, in his view, extremely arrogant and refused to admit that the responsibility lay with themselves and not others. https://t.co/zhlhe5cBaM #Politiikka #Suomi #Kokoomus (translated)

Jouko S. questioned the description of the rise in support for the Finns Party as mere fluctuations. He referred to Kopra's assessment and predicted that this would lead to explanations and panic from the National Coalition Party. https://t.co/LOwITPsnBb #politiikka #Suomi #valtiovalta (translated)

Eija-Riitta Korhola-Dunderfelt wrote that she had spoken about the support for the National Coalition Party a couple of months earlier. She believed that the decline in the party's support was due to the fact that, in her opinion, the National Coalition Party had shifted too far to the green left, although some argued that the party was too far to the right. Korhola-Dunderfelt felt that calculations would not help the situation, but the party needed to be authentic. #politiikka #Suomi #kannatus (translated)

Jari Mäkäräinen criticized Yle for often choosing female journalists to incite moral panic, according to him. He interpreted Yle's analysis as showing that support for the National Coalition Party among women had dropped to 12 percent and that the Finns Party had surpassed this party. However, according to Mäkäräinen, women were not punishing the National Coalition Party for its policies but for its austerity measures, and men were supporting the state. Mäkäräinen believed that the decline in women's support was due to the impact of budget cuts on sectors predominantly employing women, such as social services, organizations, and public services. In his view, this did not make the cuts unjust, but rather highlighted their effects. He mentioned the Social Democratic Party, the Left Alliance, and the Centre Party as the most popular parties among women and claimed that the left proposed tax increases amounting to nine billion euros. According to Mäkäräinen, the costs of these increases would fall on men who work overtime, start businesses, and pay progressive taxes. Mäkäräinen assessed that the issue for the National Coalition Party was its attempt to soften difficult decisions, while the Finns Party spoke about the same issues more directly. He argued that men were underrepresented in the care sector and overrepresented in dangerous jobs, entrepreneurship, and at the high end of the tax revenue spectrum. In his opinion, the National Coalition Party should maintain its stance even if it lost some female support, as this could help it win over voters who support the sustainability of the state. https://t.co/DfwLyPN03s #Politiikka #NaistenOikeudet #Taloustieto (translated)
