The author wrote that the discussion showed why it is easy to believe in a "miraculous cancer cure from beets" in Poland. In his opinion, this is encouraged by the belief that pharmaceutical companies introduce drugs whose mechanisms of action are unknown, justifying it by saying that they "work." He asked how one can know that a drug will work if its mechanism is not understood. #zdrowie #medycyna #rak #PL (translated)

The author wrote that the European Commission approved the transaction, and UOKiK found that there were no grounds to intervene, as it was concluded by American media conglomerates. He added that the Polish government acted independently nonetheless. He compared this situation to the takeover of TVP, which he described as forceful, and stated that at that time the government had no similar doubts. #KomisjaEuropejska #UOKiK #media #PL #US (translated)

Tomasz Trela 6d

Tomasz Trela accused the right wing of being ready to sacrifice Poland for power, even though it speaks of patriotism and sovereignty. He wrote that Błaszczak is striving to make the military dependent on the American arms industry, Nawrocki protects foreign oil companies, and Bielan is conspiring to overthrow the democratically elected government. He summarized his assessment as a disgrace. #Polska #patriotyzm #demokracja (translated)

The post asked if Poland was at risk of being drawn into the war and referenced the theses of Prof. Jacek Izydorczyk from his latest interview. According to the post, Izydorczyk pointed to Kyiv as a party interested in escalating the conflict and maintaining support, while American defense companies were identified as entities wanting war. The post also initiated a discussion about the Polish political class but did not expand on it in the shared excerpt. #Polska #Wojna #Bezpieczeństwo #PL #UA #US (translated)

The author of the entry advocated for the restoration of the health insurance contribution settlement rules from before 2022 in the form of a lump sum, replacing CIT with a turnover tax of 1.5%, and allowing Polish companies to make one-time depreciation of investment expenses. Mr. Cezary Krysztopa assessed that Karol Nawrocki stepped back to encourage Donald Tusk to show how he intends to lower fuel prices. He claimed that Tusk did not need the president's signature to reduce VAT and excise tax, and that a drop in prices could also be achieved by limiting Orlen's margins. Krysztopa questioned the connection between the “excess profits” law and fuel prices and called it unconstitutional. He warned that companies could pass its costs onto customers. Referring to explanations that high fuel prices were a result of Trump's war with Iran, he admitted that the conflict had raised wholesale oil prices but pointed out that they were higher when Tusk spoke of gasoline at 5.19 PLN per liter. According to Krysztopa, wholesale prices were currently lower. The author accused Tusk of avoiding information about the budget's state and attributed the catastrophe of public finances to him. He cited the downgrade by Moody’s, which he described as the first in over twenty years, and claimed that the decline in tax revenues was due to tolerance of VAT fraud and abuse in the fuel market. Krysztopa predicted that the announced price reduction would amount to about one zloty, after which prices would rise again, and later there would be a lack of funds for further actions. He also criticized Tusk's supporters for their joy over PiS's political defeat, using vulgar terms towards them, and expressed hope for a way out of the current situation. #Polska #paliwo #Tusk (translated)

Mr. Bogucki, it's just that this story is already starting to contradict itself. First, for months we hear about a record deficit, an incredible budget hole, and a government that supposedly cannot manage the state's finances 🤷‍♂️ And now the solution is a project that includes, among other things, exempting fuel sales from the retail sales tax and the ability to lower excise duties. In other words, put simply—reducing public revenues 🤷‍♂️ And that's where the magic begins. Because if the budget gets less money, then this shortfall has to be either covered by other revenues, or cut somewhere in expenditures, or increase the deficit. There is no fourth way and a drawer labeled "money from nowhere" (the NBP also doesn't have it) And I can already see the next conferences of people from the office's surroundings: the government raised other taxes - bad; the government cut expenditures - bad; the government increased the deficit - scandal, budget hole - government should resign! So regardless of the solution, the government and Tusk will of course be to blame. At the same time, when the government proposes a temporary tax on extraordinary profits of fuel companies, with revenues expected to be around 4 billion PLN and intended precisely to compensate for the loss from VAT and excise duties in protective measures, we also hear - no! So let's finally establish: drivers should pay less, concerns should not pay tax on extraordinary profits, other taxes should not be raised, expenditures should not be cut, the deficit should also not be increased. So could you please specify where exactly these missing billions should come from 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Because economics, unlike your flowery statements, unfortunately has to balance 🤷‍♂️ #ekonomia #budżet #Polska (translated)

Blocking government laws by Karol Nawrocki is pure madness when you calmly look at specific laws. In most cases, the same pattern occurs—ordinary people lose out while large corporations or the old system gain. Below are examples: 1. Tax Code Gained: the tax authorities, penalties for formal violations become harsher. Lost: taxpayers and companies that were supposed to receive lower penalties for formal shortcomings. 2. Oil, fuel, and gas reserves Gained: no one Lost: Poles, new rules were supposed to apply during the crisis 3. Mandatory insurance Gained: Insurance companies Lost: drivers and the market, if the amendment really simplified the OC; this was not checked before coming into effect. 4. Water supply and sewage Gained: the current tariff and municipal company system. Lost: municipalities and consumers, the law was supposed to regulate tariffs in their favor. 5. Road Traffic Law Gained: the old system Lost: carriers counting on EU e-permits that were to be implemented immediately. 6. Electoral Code Gained: the current, narrower voting model. Lost: voters who were supposed to receive a more widespread postal vote. 7. CIT and family foundations Gained: family foundations and individuals using them for optimization. Lost: the budget, i.e. Poles 8. Crypto-assets market Gained: crypto companies Lost: clients and supervision 9. Education Law Gained: schools and teachers sticking to the old calendar. Lost: the government's schedule for the new basis and the postponement of the eighth-grade exam. 10. Sugar tax and PIT on winnings Gained: beverage producers, stores, casino players; Lost: Poles, NFZ, and the budget 11. Alcohol excise tax Gained: breweries, distilleries, trade, alcohol buyers Lost: Poles, the budget 12. NCBR Gained: the current setup in the agency. Lost: greater oversight over NCBR 13. Active farmer Gained: individuals benefiting from agriculture without real farming Lost: farmers actively working, whom the law was supposed to strengthen. 14. SAFE Gained: Russia, USA Lost: Poland 15. Family Code Gained: no one Lost: childless couples who could part without court. 16. Shaping the agricultural system Gained: current land turnover restrictions. Lost: land buyers and companies wanting cheaper, simpler transactions. 17. SENT Gained: companies trading concrete and transport outside the broader SENT. Lost: Poles (1.2 billion) to the budget from tightening 19. Health care benefits Gained: the current NFZ benefits system. Lost: patients and facilities 20. Status of a close person Gained: no one Lost: couples, including same-sex ones, without a cohabitation agreement and the rights that come with it. 21. Public transport Gained: carriers with longer, 10-year contracts. Lost: eventually, passengers 22. Energy law Gained: the old system Lost: ultimately Poles 23. tax on extraordinary profits of fuel companies. Gained: big oil corporations, Lost: the budget.

Udanego czwartku i każdemu bez wyjątku życzę zdrowia 🤝 #Polityka #USA #Świat
