Die Angst bestand glaube ich eher davor, A: Bens unkontrollierbarem Format noch größere Aufmerksamkeit & Legitimität zu geben und B: tragende Narrative, die über den Wahlkampf hinausgehen, vor Millionen Leuten zerpflückt zu bekommen. Mit letzterem gewinnt oder verliert man übrigens keine Wahlen. Dabei geht es um längerfristigen gedanklichen Wandel. Andersherum ist es ja so, dass man einen AfD-Spitzenpolitiker vor einer wichtigen Wahl sogar besonders gut dabei torpedieren kann, indem man faktisch richtige Standpunkte in Richtungen rückt, die Wähler abschrecken.
