"We don't want windmills. (...) Show me a country with green energy, and I will show you a bankrupt country. You know, Germany tried it. They were about two days away from extinction." President Donald Trump claimed at a campaign event that the energy transition had brought Germany to the brink of disaster. "I will impose a 250 percent tariff on your damn wine and all the crap you send us. I will impose a 250 percent tariff on your wine, your champagne, and everything you send us, Emmanuel." At the same time, he threatened him, according to his own account in a phone call, with additional tariffs of 250 percent if French pharmaceutical companies did not offer their medications in the United States at lower prices. "I call him Muhammad. Someone said his name is not Muhammad, but Abdul. (...) I am the president. I can call him whatever the hell I want. To me, he is Muhammad. And he is a radical jihadist." Furthermore, Trump made derogatory remarks about the Muslim politician Abdul El-Sayed, who is running for the Senate for the Democrats. #Trump #Russland #Energiepolitik (translated)

Björn Harms announced that his new book "The Asylum Complex" would be available in stores the following day; he already had some freshly printed copies in hand. He wrote that the book includes, among other things, a detailed overall calculation of the asylum costs of past years and an overview of the number of asylum accommodations in Germany. According to him, the federal government does not know this number. According to Harms, the book also addresses real estate companies and hoteliers who earn millions by renting to the state, as well as home operators, welfare associations, lawyer networks, and state companies that benefit from the growing market or mass immigration. He announced interviews with insiders from the social industry and the real estate market, as well as insights into asylum NGOs, refugee councils, and million-euro funding programs from the EU and the federal government. Additionally, the book aims to address legal questions related to the topic of asylum. Harms requested feedback on the book. #Asylkomplex #Buchneuerscheinung #Asylpolitik (translated)

Štern wrote that the referendums were symbolic and intended for checking public sentiment. She believed that the political actors she had insultingly labelled could be investigated under the previous law, while the other three referendums were, according to her, consultative. As a lesson, she stated that one cannot rely on the Slovenian voter and urged those in power to govern fairly, but without concession. #slovenskaPolitika #volitve #demokracija (translated)

For me, it was a clear blocking on Daiki, which meant he couldn't engage in the duel at the end. If you give a player of this caliber in the Bundesliga a free foot, it can be decisive in the game. I would have liked the referee to take another look at the scene. And Gladbach's midfielder Philipp Sander (29) added: "For me, it was a clear blocking on Daiki, which meant he couldn't engage in the duel at the end. If you give a player of this caliber in the Bundesliga a free foot, it can be decisive in the game. We don't care about what they say - Juve is always destined to win: we are the ones who want to raise the bar of our focus and we must be among the teams that need to do well, we have strong ambitions and we know we are living this moment of life, we won't let anyone dictate it to us. #Cagliari #Juventus #SerieA (translated)

A second-category wizard published an anecdote about a shepherd in Šumava who was visited by a young man in a Tesla. Using a drone, satellite image, and analytical software, he calculated that there were exactly 482 animals in the herd, and as a reward, he took one of them away. The shepherd then labeled the young man as a member of the ruling coalition. He explained that the young man had arrived uninvited, demanded a reward for answering a question that nobody had asked him, and used expensive technology to show off his cleverness, even though he knew nothing about the shepherd's life. He added that it was not a herd of sheep, but goats, and asked the young man to return his dog. #technologie #humor #život (translated)
