Jan Betlach wrote that the video with six-year-old Romi deeply affected him every time. According to his description, Hamas murdered her parents Odaya and Doleva Suiss. Her father was shot while fleeing and died the same day in the hospital; her mother was shot in the car along with Amer Abu Sabil, who was trying to take them to safety. Betlach stated that Romi pulled her three-year-old sister Liu down to the floor of the car, covered her with a blanket and her own body, so the gunmen would not notice them. When other men approached them later, she begged them not to kill her or her sister. After hearing Hebrew, according to Betlach, she asked if they were police officers from Israel. When they confirmed, she asked them to take them with them. Both girls were rescued. Betlach added that Romi's broken voice echoed in his ears. https://t.co/BabRTI0qCr #Romi #Zachrana #Humanita (translated)
