Dramatic scenes on board a flydubai flight According to initial reports, today on a flydubai flight to Israel, a pilot attacked the captain with a knife and seriously injured him. Fortunately, another pilot crew in civilian clothes was on board. Together with passengers, they subdued the attacker. The plane, with around 170 Israelis on board, was able to land safely in Saudi Arabia. A senior Israeli official says that without these men, the whole situation could have ended like 9/11. Much has not been officially confirmed yet. But one thing this flight already shows: courage sometimes decides in seconds about hundreds of lives. Until an hour ago, there was nothing to read about this in German media. Remarkable. #Luftfahrt #Flugsicherheit #Israel (translated)
