Human AI researchers have plagiarised other human AI researchers for decades (some even got awards for this - examples in the reply). Human AI researchers have plagiarised other human AI researchers for decades (numerous examples in the tweets/reports below). Certain companies train their AIs to plagiarise work by unnamed scholars, extending an AI history permeated by plagiarism and misattributions. It started a long time ago. In the 1900s, the old method of least squares (Gauss & Legendre, 1795-1805) was renamed "neural network," #AIethics #Plagiarism #NeuralNetworks #Therearenospecificcountrymentionsinthetweetprovided. Therefore #nocountrycodescanbereturned.

I agree. @Nature tolerates plagiarism. Aside from the Jason Arday case: Geoffrey Hinton never retracted or corrected his Nature papers that republished/misattributed fundamental techniques invented by others whom he failed to cite. Well-known report on this: #Plagiarism #AcademicIntegrity #ScienceEthics #Nospecificcountriesarementionedinthetweet.

As was inevitable, the Arday Affair is moving on from the examination of one fabulist and plagiarist to the rot that has consumed much of the higher-education sector. These clowns oversee the step from childhood to adulthood for approaching half of all young people - and pretty #HigherEd #ArdayAffair #Plagiarism #Thetweetdoesnotmentionanyspecificcountries. Therefore #therearenocountrycodestoreturn.

"We need far more transparency when it comes to AI-assisted writing. In my experience, very few people who have been accused of AI plagiarism by Pangram have come clean about it. At best, they claim to have used AI only to lightly polish their writing (which I do all the time, https://t.co/6g7jwuiePz #AITransparency #Plagiarism #WritingCommunity #Therearenospecificcountryreferencesinthetweetyouprovided. Therefore #therearenocountrycodestoreturn.

Interesting that a Cambridge student formulerad the problem that resulted in the Jason Arday scandal better than most others. Academia did not investigate accusations of plagiarism (supported by clear evidence) because the criticism came from “the wrong people”. There's no point in further belaboring the fact that Jason Arday is a rampant plagiarist, an incompetent scholar, and a pathological liar. (If you've lost @guardian, it's over.) Arday obviously needs help and should never have been placed in this position. Far more damning for https://t.co/1xuJMRRbBq #Plagiarism #AcademicIntegrity #FalseCredentials #Nospecificcountrycodescanbeidentifiedinthetweet.
