The author wrote that, three years later, they were honouring those killed and remembering the suffering. They said time had not diminished the horror of terrorism or the pain of those who had lost loved ones, and that remembrance also meant ensuring hatred and violence did not define the region’s future.

Arthur Schopenhauer: Knowing too many truths about man, I cannot expect anything good from him. Absolute proof of the truth of this statement is the contemplation and possibility of realizing the greatest crime of the destruction of the Earth and all humanity by the ruling global elite, as well as the endless wars and genocides committed by it. What negative qualities in humans did Schopenhauer discover that deeply disappointed him? A blind, irrational, and insatiable drive that governs all people and pushes them towards selfishness and suffering. Inherent selfishness and malice Selfishness is the main driving force of man. It is the desire for one's own well-being, which is often limitless. A person is willing to sacrifice the happiness of others to satisfy even the smallest whims. Malice (malevolence): The desire to cause harm or suffering to another without any personal gain, simply out of envy or sheer cruelty. Schopenhauer believes that humans are the only beings that take pleasure in the suffering of their kind. Lack of true morality. Most people do not possess true compassion. They behave "morally" or "civilized" only out of fear of the law, public opinion, or loss of reputation. If these external constraints are removed, a person quickly reveals their true, savage nature. Intellectual superficiality and stupidity. Schopenhauer was deeply disappointed by the low intellectual level of the majority. According to him, most people are: Herd animals: Prone to blindly follow fashion, authorities, and public opinion rather than think critically. Incapable of higher spiritual pleasures: Satisfied only with material goods, sensory pleasures, and empty conversations. Hypocrisy and falseness The philosopher views social rituals and etiquettes as a mask behind which people hide their hostility and selfishness. Politeness is merely "artificial skin," protecting us from mutual harm with our true intentions. Insatiability and eternal dissatisfaction Humans are doomed to an eternal cycle between desire (which brings pain until fulfilled) and boredom, devaluation, and weariness (which occur immediately after the desire is satisfied). This psychological trap makes people eternally grumbling, ungrateful, and unhappy beings. (translated)

The author called for reconsidering the diagnosis of borderline personality disorder, writing that for more than four decades people whose distress centred on relationships had been labelled as having a disordered personality. They argued that the evidence no longer supported that framing.

The author argued that viewing AI models as incapable of sentience or suffering, while rejecting comparisons of suffering between humans and non-humans, could lead to a dystopian future. They added that before that point, the idea would be “rightfully met”, but the post ended before specifying what it would be met with.

The author warned that viewing AI models as incapable of sentience or suffering, and rejecting comparisons of suffering between humans and non-humans, could lead to an extremely dystopian future. They added that, before that point, it would “rightfully be met,” but the post ended without specifying what it would be met with.

The author said the comparison was deliberately stark, distinguishing Hamas from Palestinian civilians and likening Hamas to a dictatorship that dragged the population under its rule into a catastrophic war. They compared Palestinian civilians in Gaza with German civilians who suffered in Dresden.

Well done Gavin Bazunu! A brave and principled stand. You have done what the government and FAI shamefully failed to do. Palestinians are suffering the genocide and dehumanisation that Irish people suffered. You stand in a proud tradition of resisting such oppression. Respect! #GavinBazunu #Palestine #HumanRights #IE #PS

Mr President Van der Bellen, @vanderbellen Dresden in 1945 was brutal and caused immense civilian suffering. But it was not genocide against the German people, and the bombing of Dresden does not mean that the Allied war to defeat Nazi Germany was unjustified. Shrinking the @UN could be smart—if done well. And every dollar saved should go where it matters most: feeding people, protecting civilians, preventing suffering and helping communities recover. But shrinking the UN is not enough. The real question is much bigger: What is the #UNReform #GlobalImpact #HumanitarianAid #Therearenospecificcountrycodesmentionedinthetweet.

We're effectively at a point, where Iran either caves in or starts another, much more destructive escalation. What I hear from within Iran is that the economy and hence Iranians are suffering, but looking for a redemption. Hence, I think it will be latter. #Iran #Escalation #Economy #IR

We must not forget the dramatic suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza & the West Bank. The peace plan for Gaza must be fully implemented with unrestricted humanitarian aid.
