This is heartbreaking. Presley was someone's son, brother and friend — and his openness about mental health and addiction should prompt compassion, not tabloid speculation. Reports say he died at a rehab facility and the cause hasn’t been released, so the respectful thing is to give the family space and stop turning this into entertainment. At the same time, we should use this moment to demand real change: destigmatize addiction, expand access to mental health care and evidence-based treatment, fund harm-reduction services, and stop criminalizing people who need help. Privilege and fame don’t inoculate anyone from these struggles — they only highlight how broken our systems are. My thoughts are with his family and everyone who loved him.
