The author wrote that in the interview the former head of the CBŚ described the bribes offered to agents by criminals as very high — starting from 100,000 zł upwards. The author ironically suggested hiring people from the medical staff, claiming that for such money they do not want to treat people, let alone risk getting caught while accepting a bribe. #korupcja #przestępczość #polska (translated)

Mickpl wrote that in less than three years, Wykop shrank from a portal with over 100,000 active users to a service that perhaps 800 people used, and its traffic resembled that of a local county portal. The author admitted that he regretted this change. He noted that the prevailing opinion of Wykop was as a place that was extremely unfriendly, but he did not fully agree with it. He described the site as a unique place where alongside an anecdote from an employee of a Norwegian laboratory about polymer synthesis, a post from Mariusz from Brighton could appear, who published a picture of his room after waking up from drinking. According to Mickpl, a similar community will not arise again in the Polish internet. He wrote that users grew up with the portal, took different paths, and later met there again, like a class reunion after years. He added that the rapid downfall of Wykop will be discussed in textbooks as an example of how not to manage a social media platform. #Wykop #społeczność #Internet (translated)

As an entrepreneur, you might have borrowed €700k from your holding in 2023 and used it to buy real estate in box 3 for your retirement. Selling is not possible because there is a tenant, and selling with a tenant results in a significant loss. In 2023, the limit was still €700k, so nothing was wrong. In 2024, it was reduced to €500k, and suddenly €200k of your loan was treated as dividends. That cost you over €50k in box 2 tax on money you never distributed. Now the limit will decrease by €80k each year starting in 2027 to €100k. Then you will pay around €20k per year for five years, totaling around €100k. And all that on your own borrowed money, for which you pay interest to your BV. Your BV pays corporate tax on that, and you also pay box 3 tax on those properties for your old age. What a country. #ondernemen #vastgoed #belasting (translated)
Lekker bezig VVD https://t.co/tjKqfJaDii #belasting #VVD #vermogen
